The objects and pLtr~pQses of the acqUisition of the described street equipment are to pro- vide the City of ~anta Ana with sufficient and modern.equipment with which to sweep, grade, and repair the public streets of the city of Santa Ans. The ~cquisition of s~id street equipment is necessary and convenient to carry .out the objects, purposes~and powers of the City of Santa Ans. The cost of the acquisition of the described street, equipment is the sum of $16,000.00, and will be too great to be paid out of the ordinary annual income_and revenue of the city of Santa Ans. Section 8. That the public interest and also the public necessity demands the acquisition by the City of Santa Ana~of s municipal improve- ment to-wit: a public ~ark in the northerly part of the city of Santa Aha, consisting of a tract of land susceptible to improvement, and of being beautified by the planting and Cultivation thereon of trees, shrubs, flowers and grass.
