public necessity demands the acquisition by the city of Santa Ana of a municipal improvement, to-wit: a public park in the southerly pert of the city of Santa Ana, consisting of a tract of land susceptible to improve- ment, and of being beautified by the planting and culti- vation thereon of trees, shrubs flowers and grass. The objects and purposes of the acquisition of said public park an topprovide for the inhabitants of the city of Santa Aha a convenient and proper place in the southerly part of said cit~ for re.creation and pleasure. The acquisition cf said public park is necessary and convenient to carry out the objects., purposes and powers of the city of Santa Anao The cost of the acquisition of said public park is estimated.to.be $18,000.00, be too great to be paid out of the ordinary annual and revenue of the city of Santa Ans. The above and foregoing Resolution No. 939 was, at a regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the city of ~anta Ana, held on the 19th da~ of February, 1923, passed by the vote of two-thirds.and more of all the members thereof, as Ayes, Trustees Noes, Trustees Absent, Trustees The foregoing Resolution No. follows: J.W.Thbbs, W.A.Oreenleaf, None H.H.Dale C.H.Chapman, John G.
