AND TO BE ASSESSED TO PAY THE COSTS AND EXPENSES THEREOF: <br />DETERMINING THAT BONDS SPL~,LL BE ISSUED TO REPRESENT SAID COSTS <br />AND EXPENSES; AND FI~ING THE TIME ANDPI~CE FOR HEARING OBJEC- <br />TIONS TO SAID WORK OR IMPROV~-I~ENT OR THE EXTENT OF TArE I~S TR~ T <br />TO BE ASSESSED OR BOTH. <br /> <br /> The Board of Trustees of the City of Santa Ans, <br />pursuant to the provisions of the Improvement Act of 1911, and <br />the Improvement Bond Act of 1915, and the amendments to said <br />Acts, do resolve as follows: <br /> <br /> SECTION I. That the public interest and convenience <br />require, and it is the intention of the Board of Trustees of <br />the City of Santa Aha, California, to order the construction <br />of the following described work and improvement, all within <br />said City, to-wit: <br /> <br /> In, on and along the roadways of the following des- <br />cribed portions of ~kreets in the said city, to-wit: <br /> <br /> (a) South Broadway from the North line of Tract <br />No. 352 to the South line of Fairvlew Avenue, excepting that <br />portion lying East of the center llne of said South Broadway, <br />and between the South line of Fairview Avenue and a line par- <br />allel to and 150 feet Northerly from the North line of Russell <br />Avenue, which excluded portion is shown on the plans, herein- <br />after in this Resolution of Intention referred to and made a <br />part hereof, and marked "NOT A PART OF THESE PROCEEDINGS". <br /> <br /> (b) South Sycamore Street from the North line of <br />Tract No. 352 to the South line of Russell Avenue. <br /> <br /> (c) Russell Avenue from the East line of South <br />Broadway to the West line of South Main Street. <br /> <br /> And where any street or alley intersects or termi- <br />nates iu any of the above described portions of streets in, <br />on and along which work is to be done or improvement is to be <br />made, then beyond the curb line and across the sidewalk reser- <br />vations to the property lines thereof. <br /> <br /> The work and fmprovement on the above described <br /> <br /> of roadways is more particularly described as <br /> <br />portions <br /> <br />follows: <br /> <br /> 1 · The <br />a three and one-half <br />overlaid with a two <br /> <br />Surface · <br /> <br />grading and paving of South Broadway with <br /> <br /> (3 1/2) inch Asphaltic Concrete base <br /> (2) inch Asphaltic concrete wearing <br /> <br />Russell Streets with a three and <br />tic Concrete wearing surface. <br /> <br /> 3. The removal of old <br /> <br />The grading and paving of South Sycamore and <br /> <br /> one-half (3 1/2) inch Asphal- <br /> <br />curb ~s per plans and the <br /> <br />construction of cement curb on portions of the above described <br />streets where the same have not already been constructed, in <br />accordance with the plans, profiles, cross-sections and speci- <br />fications hereinafter referred to. <br /> <br /> <br />
