RESOLUTION OVERRULING PROTESTS OR OBJECTIONS TO ASSESSMENT, APPROVING ASSE$SM~T AND ORDEiTING T~E STREET SUPEH~NTENDENT TO ATTACH WARRANT AND RECORD. NO. 1335. WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees of the city of S~ta Aha did, on the llth day of February, 1.q~4, pass Rem lution of Intention No. 1189, for the improvement of West Second Street in said c~y, andwhereae, on the lath day of August, 1924, the Superintendent of Streets of said city filed an assessment to cover t~e sum due for the work performed and specified in the contract made under proceedings for the said improve- ment, which assessment diagram was approved by the Board of Trustees of said city on the 4th day of August, 1924. AND WHEREAS, the Olerk of the city of S~ta An~ has given notice required by law in which notice September let, 1924, at the hour of V:30 o'clock P. M. w~s fixed as the time, and the Council Charmber of the City Hall of said city as the place where any and all persons interested in the said work might be hear~ AND WHEP~S, no person aggrieved tms filed with the Board of Trustees a written objection to said assessment as required by law; and ~heress, at tbs ti,~e set for s~id hearing on September 1st, 1924, there was not a ~ crum present and no meeting was held or any action taken excepting to continue the hearing iu said ~,eting until the hour of V:~O o'clock P. M. of September 2nd, l~2A; and whereas, at said hour on Sea, ember 2~d, 1924, at the time to which the hearing was continued for hearing protests or objections the Board of Trustees of said city ~oceeded to hear the same, and all of saidprotests or objections to said assessment o~ the work done having been heard, it is hereby: RESOLVe, by the Board of Trustees of the city of S~ ta Aha that all of the said protests or objections against said assessment or the work ~ ne uoder s~idproceedlngs be, andthe same are hereby, overruled and denied and the assessment be affirmed, and that the Street Superintendent be a~d heis hereby directed to attach to s~id assessment a warrant in the fc~ln and manner required by law, and shall record the same in th~ office of said Superintendent of htreets. I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly passed by the Board of Trustees of the city of Santa Ana, at a regular adjourned meeting of said Board held on the 2nd day of September, 1924, by the ~ llowing vote: Ayes: Trustees C.H.Chapman, Geo.
