RESOLUTION NO. 18~8 A RESOLUTION OF THE BOA RD OF TRUSTEES ~' THE CITY OF SAI~TA ANA, CALItOI~A, RELATING TO THE ISSUANCE (l· STREET I~HOVEMENT BONDS PURSUANT TO RESOLUTION OFINT~I~TION NO. 959, DETEP~II~II~G THE AMOUNT OF UNPAID ASSE~S~/ENTS, PRE- SCRIBING THE DENOMINATION OF SUCH BONDS, ANDPROVIEI ~G FOR TNEIH ISSUANCE. WHEREAS, pursuant to statute, notice of filing list of unpaid assessments w~s duly given in the manner and form re- quired by law, that the warrant, assessment ~nd diagram recorded on the 22nd day of July, 1924, for the work sndimprovement made by Wails and Bressler under that certain contract awarded to them pn the 8th day of October, 1923, on $. Garnsey ~nd West Myrtle Streets in the city of Ssata Ana; and ttmt said warrant, assessment and diagram were returned to the Street Superintendent of said city, together with a written statement of all payments received upon the assessment, and after the fulls xpiratlon of twenty (20~ days from the date of said warrant, tt~ said Street Superintendent duly made sndfiled with the City Clerk of the said city of Santa Ana, a complete list of ~11 assessments unpaid upon the said assessment, which list is now on file in the office of the City Clerk of the said city, now upon evidence shown this Board determines that the assessments therein mentioned w~re then unDsid the total sggregate thereof being the sum of Twenty- Four Thousand, Nine Hundred Sixty Nine ~nd 9~/100 ($24,969.93) Dollars, and that assessments numbered 28, 60 end 12~ and no others have since been p~id, and that there now remains unpaid the sum of Twenty Four Thousand, Three Hundred Twenty Five and 60/100 ($2A,32§.$~) Dollars upon the assessment shown upon said list other than those hereinabove last noted ss having been paid. Reference is hereby made to Resolution of IntentiOn No. 9§9 of. the Board of Trustees of the city of Santa Ana, passe~ March Bth, 192~, for a complete description of the work herein mention- ed, end to the list of unpaid assessments diled as above noted, for the assessments unpaid. AND WHEREAS, interested persons were notified in the manner required by law to appear before the Board of Trustees of the aAiS city of Santa Ana, California, in the Council Chamber of the City Hall of said City, at the hour of V$~O o'clock P.M. of Monday, the 1st day of September, 1924, and show cause why bonds should not be issued upon the sec~ity of the unpaid assessments shown on sa id Street Superintendent's list; at the time set for said hearing on September 1st, 1924, there was not a quorum presen$ and ne meeting was held or any action taken excepting to continue the hearing in said meeting until the hour of V:~O o'clock P. M. of September 2nd, 1924. WHEREA~, notice was duly given in the manner andform quired by the law that serial bonds to represent unpaid assessments bearing interest at the rate of six (6) per cent per annum will be issued hereunder in the manner provided in
