62 place where any and all persons interested in the said work might be heard; and whereas, said 13th day of October, 1924, was a legal holiday, the hearing on said matter was continued to October 14th, 1924, at the same hour and place. AND WHERFA$, certain persons aggrieved have filed with the Board of Trustees a written objection to said assess- ment as required by law, and whereas, at the time to which the hearing of protests or objections has been continued the Board of Trustees of said City proceeded to hear the same, and all of said protests or objections to said assessment or the work done having been heard, it is hereby: P~ESOLVED, by the Board of Trustees of the City of Santa Ana that ell of the said protests or objections against said assessment or the work done under said proceedings be, and the same are hereby, overruled and denied and the assess- ment be affirmed, and that the Street Superintendent be, end he is hereby directed to attach to said assessment s warrant in the form and manner required by law, and shall record the same in the office of said Superintendent of Streets. WHEP~AS, the Board of Trustees of the City of Seats Aaa did, on the 28th day of April, 1924, pass he~lution of Intention No. 1242 for the improvement of hoe Drive, and whereas, on the ~0th day of September, 1924, the ~uperlntendent of Streets of said City filed an assessment ~o cover the sum due for the work performed and specified in the contract made under proceedings for the said improvement, which assessment diagram was sDproved by the Board of Trustees of said City on the 22nd day of September, 1924.
