RESOLUTION OVERRULING PROTESTS OR OBJECTIONS TO <br />REPORT OF STREET SUPERINTENDENT, APPROVING REPORT, <br />AND ORDERING A COPY THEREOF FILED WITN THE TAX COLLECTOR <br /> <br />NO. 1400 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Boar~ of Trustees of the City of Santa <br />Aha did, on the 2Srd day of June, 1924, pass Resolution No. <br />12VO, determining and declaring that weeds which bear seeds <br />of s wingy or downy nature, and attain such a large growth <br />ss to become s fire menace when d~y, and which ,re noxious <br />and dangerous, were growing upon the streets, sidewalks, and <br />private property in tbs City of Santa Aha, described in the <br />itemized report submitted herewith, and are a public nuisance; <br />and whereas., on the 30th day of June, 1924, the Board of Trus- <br />tees further passed Resolution No. 1290 ordering the Street <br />Superintendent of said City to abate such public nuisance; <br /> <br /> AND WHEREAS, in pursuance to the above numbered <br />Resolutions the Street Superintendent did abate such nuisance <br />and kept an itemized account and report of the costs and ex- <br />penses thereof; and whereas, the said Street Superintendent <br />has given notice required by law in which notice December 22nd, <br />1924, at the hour of V:SO o'clock P.~. was fixed as the time, <br />~nd the Council Chamber of the City Hall of said City as the <br />~lace where any and all persons interested in the said report <br />might be heard; and whereas, at the time set the Street Super- <br />intendent submitted tbs said report, end ell of said protests <br />or objections to said report having been heard, it is hereby; <br /> <br /> RESOLVED, by the Board of Trustees of the City of <br />Santa Ana that ell of said protests or objections to the said <br />report or the work done be, end the same are hereby overruled, <br />and the report be affirmed, and that the Street Superintendent <br />be, end he is hereby, diredted to file a copy of said report <br />with the Tax Co]lector. <br /> <br /> I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was <br />duly end regularly passed by the Board of Trustees of the <br />City of Santa Aha at sn adjourned regular meeting of s aid <br />Board bald on the 22nd day of December, 1924, by the follow- <br /> <br />lng vote: <br /> <br /> Ayes, Trustees <br /> <br />C.H.
