8" <br />10' <br />12" <br />14" <br />16" <br />18" <br />24,~ <br />30" <br /> <br />TABLE OF DIMENSION8 FOR CONCRgTB CULVERT PX~i~ <br /> <br /> The circles corresponding to the upper and lower inside diameters of the female end <br />shall be concentric with the bore of the pipe. <br /> (I) IMPERFECTIONS. The flolowing imperfections in a pipe or special will be <br />considered injurious and cause for repectinn. <br /> (1) When the bore or socket of sewer pipe varies from a true circle more than three <br />(3) per cent c4 its nominal diameter. The same variation in the bore or female end of <br />culver~ pipe will be allowed. <br /> (2) A pipe or special designed to be straight, exhibiting a deviation from a straight <br />line of more than eighths (~) of an inch. <br /> (3) A single crack in the body of the pipe extending through the entire thickness, <br />regardless of the length, of such crack. <br /> (4) A single crack which eXtends through one-half the thickness and over three <br />(3) inches in length. <br /> (5) Two or more cracks in the body of the pipe of a less len~h than three (3) inches, <br />and extending through one-half of the thickness. <br /> (6) Any crack which is more than one-sixteenth (1-16) of an inch wide at its widest <br />point. <br /> (~) A piece broken {rom the spigot end of sewer pipe deeper than the socket or longer <br />than one-third of the diameter of the pipe; or a piece broken from the bell if the fracture <br />extends into the body of the pipe or is longer than one-third of the diameter of the pipe. <br /> This limitation applies likewise to the male and female ends of culvert pipe. <br /> (8) Two or more breaks in the socket or spigot of sewer pipe, or in the corresponding <br />ends of culvert pipe, unless they can be placed in the upper half of the pipe when lald. <br /> <br /> <br />
