331 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF INTENTION <br />No. 1514. <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA, DECLARING THEIR INTENTION TO ORDER THE <br />PAVING AND OTHERWISE IMPROVING OF A PORTION OF EAST BISHOP <br />STREET, WAKEHAM AVENUE AND HICKORY STREET, ALL WITHIN SAID CITY <br />DECLARING THE SAID WOrK OR IMPROVEMENT TO BE OF MORE THAN LOCAL <br />OR ORDINARY PUBLIC BENEFIT; DECLARING THE DISTRICT TO BE BENE- <br />FITED BY SAID WORK AND IMPROVEMENT, AND TO BE ASSESSED TO PAY <br />THE COSTS AND EXPENSES THEREOF; DETERMINING THAT BONDS SHALL BE <br />ISSUED TO REPRESENT SAID COSTS AND EXPENSES; AND FIXING THE TIME <br />AND PLACE FOR HEARING OBJECTIONS TO SAID WOrK OR IMPROVEMENT, OR <br />TO THE EXTENT OF THE DISTRICT TO BE ASSESSED, OR BOTH. <br /> <br /> The Board of Trustees of the City of Santa Ana, pursu- <br />ant to the provisions of the ImF~ovement Act of 1911, and the <br />Improvement Bond Act of 1915, and the amendments to said Acts~ <br />do resolve as follows: <br /> <br /> SECTION I. That the public interest and convenience <br />require, and it is the intention of the Board of T~ustees of the <br />City of Santa Aha, California, to order the constr~actlon of the <br />following described work and improvement in said City, to-wit: <br /> <br /> In, on and along the roadway of Hickory Street from <br />the East line of Bishop Street to the Westerly extended South <br />line of Lot 25 of Tract No. 614; East Bishop Street from the <br />East line of Kilson Drive to the West line of Halladay Street; <br />and Wakeham Avenue from the East line of Kilson Drive to the <br />West line of Halladay Street. <br /> <br /> The work and improvement is more particularly des- <br />cribed as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. The grading and paving of the above described por- <br />tions of streets from curb line to curb line, and where cross <br />streets intersect the said streets, the grading and paving shall <br />extend beyond the said curb line and across the sidewalk reser- <br />vations to the extended property lines of the said streets. The <br />grading and paving of all driveways as shown on the plans to be <br />paved along the said described streets from the street face of <br />the curb line to the street edge of the sidewalk, and for their <br />entire width. The above described portions of streets, cross- <br />s~reets and driveways shall be graded to a subgrade five (5) <br />inohes below the finished grade as shown on the plans, and the <br />construction thereon of a three and one-half (3~) inch Asphaltic <br />Concrete base overlaid with a one and one-half (1~~) inch Asphal- <br />tic Concrete wearing surface. <br /> <br /> 2. The excavation for and the construction of cement <br />concrete curb upon portions of the above described streets whet <br /> <br /> <br />
