RESOLHTION OF INTENTION No. 1526 A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY(IF SANTA ANA, DECLARING THEIR INTENTION TO ORDER THE CONSTRUCTI~ OF AN ORN~aMEN'?AL LIGHTING SYSTEM IN PORTIONS OF NORTH BROAB- WAY STREET IN SAID CITY; DECLARING THE SAID WORK OR IMPROVE- MENT TO BE OF MORE THAN LOCAL OR ORDINARY PUBLIC BENEFIT; DECLARING THE DISTRICT TO BE BENEFITED BY SAID WORK AND IM- PROVEMENT AND TO BE ASSESSED TO PAY THE COSTS AND EXPENSES THEREOF; DETERMINING THAT BONDS SHALL BE ISSUED TO REPRESENT SAID COSTS AND EXPENSES; AND FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE FOR HEARING OBJECTIONS TO SAID WORK OR IMPROVEMENT, OR TO THE EX- TENT OF THE DISTRICT TO BE ASSESSED OR BOTH. The Board of Trustees of the City of Santa Aha, pursuant to the provisions of the Improvement ~ct of 1911, and the Improvement Bond Act of 1915, and the amendments said Acts, do resolve as follows: PUBLIC INTEREST AND CONVENIENCE WgRK TO BE CONSTRUCTED to SECTION I. That the public interest and convenierm and it is the intention of the Board of Trustees of require, the City of S~ta Ana, California, to order the construction of the following described work and improvement in said City to-wit: (a) The construction, for the purpose of lighting North Broadway between the North line of West First St~e~ and the South lins of West Sixth Street, of an orname~:al lighting system to consist of thirty (30) double light stan- dards of the type and kind known as the King Standard ;o. K.Ol~l complete, including all concrete foundations, anchor bolts, pot-heads, wiring, lamps, globes, canopies and other necessary items, all in accordance with the plans and speci- fications hereinafter referred to. (b) The installation of conduits connecting vaul~ to the light standards, and the complete wiring of the con- duits connecting the light standards in circuits, all in accordance with the plans and specifications hereinafter re- ferred to. (c) That for the installation of the hereinbefore described systam a patented article will be used and a li- cense agreement between the patent owner and the City of Santa Aha is now on file in t~e office of the City Engineer, to which said agreement reference is hereby made, and the same is made a part of this Resolution of Intention be refer ence, the same as though set forth in full herein.
