RESOLUTION NO. 1536 A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF SANTA iNA, CALIFORNIA, RELATING TO THE ISSUANCE OF STREET IM- PROVEMENT BONDS PURSUANT TO RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO. 1428, DETERMINING THE AMOUNT OF UNPAID ASSESSMENTS, PRESCRIBING THE DENOMINATION OF SUCH BONDS, AND PROVIDING FOR THEIR ISSUANCE. WHEREAS, pursuant to ~tatute, notice of filing list of unpaid assessments was duly given in the manner and form required by law, that the warrant, assessment and diagram re- corded on the 2nd day of June, 1925, for the work and improve- merit made by Steele Finley under that certain Contract awarded to him on the 16th day of March, 1925, on South Ross Street, and that said warrant, assessment and diagram were returned to the Street Superintendent of said City, together with a writte statement of all payments received upon the said assessment,an after the full expiration of twenty (20) days from the date of said warrant, the Street Superintendent duly made and filed ~ the City Clerk of said City of Santa Aha, a complete list of all assessments unpaid upon the said assessment, which list is now on file in the office of the City Clerk of said City,now npon~vi~en~e sh~W~tht~ Board d~t~mines that the ~sessmenta therein mentioned were then unpaid, the total aggregate ther~f being the sum of Eight Thousand, Seven Hundred Twenty-two and 35/lOOths ($8,722.35) Dollars, and that assessments numbered 23, 30, 31, 34, 38 and 39 aggregating the sum of Twelve Hundmed Eight ($1208.00) Dollars have since been paid, and that there now remains unpaid the sum of Seven Thousand, Five Hundred Fourteen and 35/tOOths ($7,514.35) Dollars upon the assessment shown upon said list. Reference is hereby made to Resolution of Intention No. 1428 of the Board of T~ustees of the City of Santa Ana, passed the 16th day of February, 1925, for a complete descrip- tion of the work herein mentioned, and to the list of unpaid assessments filed as above noted, for the assessments unpaid. AND %~{EREAS, interested persons were notified in the manner required by law to appear before the Board of Trustees of the said City of Santa ~na, California, in the Council Cham. bet of the City Hall of said City, at the hour of 7:30 o~clock P.M. of Monday, the 6th day of July, 1925, and show cuase why bonds should not be issued upon the security of the unpaid assessments shown on said Street Superintendent's list; and WHEREAS, notice was duly given in the manner and form required by law that serial bonds to represent unpaid assess- ments bearing interest at the rate of six (6%) per cent per annum will be issued hereunder in the manner provided in the "Improvement Bond Act of 1915", the last installment of which bonds shall hature nine (9) years from the 2nd day of July next succeeding ten (10) months from their date.
