37 5 RESOLUTION ORDERING IkPROV~M~.NT NO. 1539. ;WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees of the City of Santa Ana on the 15th day of June, 1925, passed its Resolution of Intention No. 1524, to order the hereinafter described improve ment to be made and public work to be done in the City of Santa Aha; and W~F~AS, after the passage and adoption of said Re~olutfon of Intention No. 1524, the Street Superintendent of the City of Santa ana conspicuously posted along the llne of the contemplated work and improvement, at not more than three hundred (300) feet in distance apart, an8 4 in all, notices of the passage of said Resolution of Intention, headed NOTICE OF PUBLIC WORK, in manner, form and substance as provided by law, and said Street Superintendent also ~used a notice similar in substance to be published for a period of ten (10) days in the Santa Ana Daily E~ening Register, a daily newspaper published and circulated in the City of Santa ~na, and named by the Board ~f Trustees in said Resolution of Intention as the paper in which said notice should appear, all affiSavlt of Edna L. Herrtck~ principal and publishers of said daily newspaper, as appears from the clerk of the printers and which affidavit was file5 in the office of the Clerk of the City of Santa Aha, on the 29th day of June, 1925, and is now on file therein; and ~EREAS, the Street Superintendent of the City of Santa Ana co~nenced to post the notices hereinbefore referred to on the lSth day of June, 1925, and fully completed the posting thereof on the 18th day of June, 19~5, more than ten days before the day set for heraing protests or objections to the proposed work or improvement, all as appears by the affi- davit of Nat H. Neff, Street Superintendent of the City of S~ta ~na,filed in the 19th day of ~ne, 1925~ ~WHEREAS, the office of the Clerk of said City on the and now on file therein; and 13th day of July, 1925, at the hour of V:30 o~clock P.M.,and the Council Chamber of the Board of Trustees of the City of Santa Aha was the day, hour and place named in the Resolution of Intention and Notice of Public Work when and where any and all persons having any objections to the proposed public work or improvement might appear before the Board of Trustees and show cause why said proposed improve ment should not be carried out in accordance with said Resolu- tion of Intention; and whereas, at the time set for the ~aid hearing on July 13th, 1925, there was not a quo~thm present and no meeting was held or any action taken excepting to con- tinue the hearing in said meeting until the hour of V:30 o~clock P.M. of July 20th, 1925; and
