And Whereas~ interested persons were notified in the <br /> manner required by law to appear before the Board. of Trustees <br /> of the said City of Santa Aha, California, in the Council Cham. <br /> bet of th~ City Hall of said city, at the hour of 7:30 o'clock <br /> P.M. of Monday, the 10th day of August, 1925, and show cause <br /> why bonds should not be issued upon the security of the unpaid <br /> assessments ~hown on said Street Superintendent's list; and <br /> whereas, at said hour on the 10th day of August, 1925, there <br /> was not a quorum present of said Board of Trustees, and no ac- <br /> tion was taken other than to continue said hearing until the <br /> 17th day of August, 1925, at 7:30 o'clock P.M., and <br /> <br /> Whereas, the Board of Trustees of the City of Santa <br /> A~a was duly in regular session at the Council Chamber thereof <br /> at the hour of 7:30 o'clock P.M. of Monday, the 17th day of <br /> August, 1925, being the day, hour andplace to which said hear- <br /> ing was continued when and where any persons wishing to appear, <br /> might bo appear and show cause why bonds should not be issued <br /> upon the security of the unpaid assessments shown on said <br /> Street Superintendent's list; and <br /> <br /> Whereas, notice was duly given in the manner and <br />fozE required by law that serial bonds to represent unpaid as- <br />sessments bearing interest at the rate of six (6) per cent per <br />annum will be issued hereunder in the manner provided in the <br />"Improvement Bond Act of 19].5" the last installment of which <br />bonds shall mature nine (9) years from the 2nd day of July, <br />next succeeding ~en (10) months from their date. <br /> <br /> And all interested persons having appeared before <br />this Board of Trustees and having been given full opportunity <br />to show cause why bonds shoul~ not be issued upon the security <br />of the unpaid assessments shown on s~d list, and all obJectkn~ <br />presented having been heard and considered; <br /> <br /> Now Be It Resolved, that the Board of Trustees does <br />hereby find and determine that no cause ~as been shown why <br />bonds should not be issued upon the security of said unpaid <br />assessments, and does hereby overrule all objections thereto, <br />and does hereby direct the issuance of said bonds, and further <br /> <br /> Be It Resolved As Follows, that bonds shall be issued <br />upon the security of said unpaid assessments to said amount of <br />Eighty-one Thousand~ Thirty-six and 81/100 ($81,036.~l)Do!lars <br /> <br /> That said bonds shall be ninety (90) in number, and <br />shall be dated August 17th, 1925, and bmar interest at the rat <br />of six (6) per cent per annum, and the denomination of said <br />bonds, and the-dates of the respective maturities thereof shall <br /> <br />be as follows: <br /> <br />Series Bond No. Amount <br /> <br />Date of Maturity <br /> <br />T-1 1 $1000.00 July 2nd,1926 <br />T-1 2 1000.00 July 2nd, 1926 <br />T-I 3 1000.00 July 2nd, 1926 <br />T-1 4 1000.00 July 2nd, 1926 <br /> <br /> <br />
