And Whereas~ interested persons were notified in the manner required by law to appear before the Board. of Trustees of the said City of Santa Aha, California, in the Council Cham. bet of th~ City Hall of said city, at the hour of 7:30 o'clock P.M. of Monday, the 10th day of August, 1925, and show cause why bonds should not be issued upon the security of the unpaid assessments ~hown on said Street Superintendent's list; and whereas, at said hour on the 10th day of August, 1925, there was not a quorum present of said Board of Trustees, and no ac- tion was taken other than to continue said hearing until the 17th day of August, 1925, at 7:30 o'clock P.M., and Whereas, the Board of Trustees of the City of Santa A~a was duly in regular session at the Council Chamber thereof at the hour of 7:30 o'clock P.M. of Monday, the 17th day of August, 1925, being the day, hour andplace to which said hear- ing was continued when and where any persons wishing to appear, might bo appear and show cause why bonds should not be issued upon the security of the unpaid assessments shown on said Street Superintendent's list; and Whereas, notice was duly given in the manner and fozE required by law that serial bonds to represent unpaid as- sessments bearing interest at the rate of six (6) per cent per annum will be issued hereunder in the manner provided in the "Improvement Bond Act of 19].5" the last installment of which bonds shall mature nine (9) years from the 2nd day of July, next succeeding ~en (10) months from their date. And all interested persons having appeared before this Board of Trustees and having been given full opportunity to show cause why bonds shoul~ not be issued upon the security of the unpaid assessments shown on s~d list, and all obJectkn~ presented having been heard and considered; Now Be It Resolved, that the Board of Trustees does hereby find and determine that no cause ~as been shown why bonds should not be issued upon the security of said unpaid assessments, and does hereby overrule all objections thereto, and does hereby direct the issuance of said bonds, and further Be It Resolved As Follows, that bonds shall be issued upon the security of said unpaid assessments to said amount of Eighty-one Thousand~ Thirty-six and 81/100 ($81,036.~l)Do!lars That said bonds shall be ninety (90) in number, and shall be dated August 17th, 1925, and bmar interest at the rat of six (6) per cent per annum, and the denomination of said bonds, and the-dates of the respective maturities thereof shall be as follows: Series Bond No. Amount Date of Maturity T-1 1 $1000.00 July 2nd,1926 T-1 2 1000.00 July 2nd, 1926 T-I 3 1000.00 July 2nd, 1926 T-1 4 1000.00 July 2nd, 1926
