recorded on the 1st day of September, 1925, for the work and improvement made by Griffith Co. under that certain contract awarded to it on the 20th day of April, 1925, on North Baker Street; and that said warrant, assessment and diagram were returned to the Street Superintendent of said City, together with a written statement of all payments received upon the said assessment, and after the full expiration of twenty (20] days fro~ the date of said warrant, the Street Superintendent duly made ~nd filed with the City Clerk of said City of Sant~ Aha, a complete list of all assessments unpaid upon the said assessment, which list is now on file in the office of the City Clerk of said City, now upon evidence shov~ this Board determines that the assessments therein mentioned were then unpaid,the total aggregate thereof being the sum of Nineteen Thousand Twenty-nine and 50/100 (~19,029.80) Dollars, ~nd that no assessments have since been paid, and that there now remains unpaid the sum of Nineteen Thousand Twenty-nine and 50/100 ($19,029.$0) Dollars upon the assessments sho~rn upon said list. Reference is hereby made to Re~lution of Intentio~ No. 1430 of the Board of Trustees of the City of Santa passed the 18th day of February, 1925, for a complete desc~t! tion of the work herein mentioned, and to the llst of ~mpaid assessEents filed as above noted, for the assessments unpaid. AND 7~EREAS, interested persons were notified in the manner required by law to appear before the Board of Trustees of the s~id City of Santa Aha, California, in the Council Chamber of the City Hall of said City, at the hour ~:~0 o~clock P.M. of Monday, the Sth day e~ 0ctober~ 192~, and show c~use why bond~ should not be issued upon the secua rlty o? the unpaid assessments shown on sa~d Str,-~et Superin- tendent~s list; ~nd WHEREAS, notice was duly given in the ~anner ~nd form required by law that serial bonds to represent unpaid assessments bearing interest at the rate of six (6~) per cen~ per ann~nu will be issued hereunder in the manner provided in the "Improvement Bond Act of 1915", the last installment of which bonds shall mature nine (9) years from the 2nd day of July, next succeeding ten (10) ~onths from their date.
