Intention No. 1428, to order the hereinafter described work to be done and improvement to be made in~ on and along a por- tion of South Ross Street in said City, which Resolution of Intention No. 1428 was duly and legally published twice in the Santa Aha Daily Evening Re~ister, , daily newspaoer published circulated in the City of Santa ~na, ail as required by as anpears from the affidavit of Edn~ I.. Merrick, princi. clerk of the printers and publishers of said daily news- filed in the office of the on the 18th d~y of Feb., 1925, file therein; and W~FRWAS, after the passage and adoption of ~aid Resolution of Intention No. 1428, the Street Superintendent of the City of Santa Aha conspicuously posted along the line of the ~ntemplated work and improvement, at not more than three hundred (ZOO) feet in distance apart, ~d 1~ in all, notices of the passage of said Resolution of Intention, he~ded NOTICE OF IMPR~'E~ENT, iu manner, form and subst,nce as provided by law, and the work being chargeable upon a district, ~lso con- splcuous]y posted copies of said notice alon~ ~1~ of the open streets and alleys within such district, not more than three hundred (ZOO) feet in distance a~rt ou each street, and did post on each street ~t least Z notices, and on said streets 18 notices; a~d WWMR~AS, the Street Superintendent of the City of Santa ~ · ,ha commenced to post said notices on the 18th day of February, 1925, and f~]ly completed the posttut thereof on the 18th day of February, 1925, more that ten days before the day set for hearing protests or objections to the proposed work amd improvement, all ~s arpears by the affidavit of Nat M. Neff, Street Superintendent of the City of Santa Ana, filed in the office of the Clerk of said City on the 18th day of Feb., 1925, ~nd now on file therein; and WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees of t he City of S~nta Aha was duly in regular session at the Council Chamber thereof at the hour of v:~0 o'clock P.M. of Monday, the 2nd day of Msrch, 1~25, bein~ ~he d~y, hour and place named in tke Resolu ~ion of Intention and Notice of Improvement, when and where shy snd a?l persons h~v~ng any objection to the proposed work or improvement might arpear before the Bo~rd of Trustees and show c,use why said proposed improveEent should not be carried out in accordance with said Resolution of Int~ion; and
