RESOLUTION ORDEH]N G ~O~qK <br /> NO. 1812 <br /> <br /> ~HEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Ana, on the <br /> 8th day of August, 1927, passed its Resolution of Intention No. 1801 <br /> to order the hereinafter described work to be done and improvement <br /> to be made in, on and along those open ~ublic streets in said city <br /> known as Main Street, from the north line of First Street to the <br /> south line of Sixth Street, the south ten (10) feet pf Third Street <br /> from a line 'ten (10) feet west of and parallel to the west line of <br /> Main Street to a line ninety (90) feet east of and parallel to the <br /> east line of Main Street, and Fourth Street from the east line of <br /> <br />~Main Street to a line ten (10) feet east of and parallel thereto, <br /> which Resolution of Intention No. 180I was duly and legally pub- <br /> lished twice in the Santa Ara Daily Evening Register, a daily news- <br /> paper published and circulated in the City of Santa Ara, as required <br /> ~y 1.aw, as appe ars from the affidavit of Edna L. Herrick, principal <br /> mlerk of the printers and publishers of said daily newspaper, and <br /> which affidavit was filed in the office of the Clerk of the City of <br /> Santa Ara, on the llth day of August, 1927; and <br /> <br /> ~¥HEREAS, after the passage and adoption of said Resolution <br /> of Intention No. 1801 the Street Superintendent of the City of Santa <br /> Ana ~onsplcuously posted along the line of the c~templated work and <br /> improvement, at not more than three hundred (~300) feet in distance <br /> apart, and ~B in all, notices of the passage ofsald Resolution of <br /> Intention, headed, NOTICE OF IMPROVF~ENT, in the maaner, form aud <br /> substance as required by law, and the work being chargeable upon <br /> a. district, also conspicuously posted copies of said notice along all <br /> of the open streets within such district at not more than three <br /> hundred (300) feet in distance apart, as aple ars from the affidavit <br /> of C. L. Jenken, said Street Superintendent, who personally posted <br /> said notices of improvement; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS~ the Street Superintendent of the City of Santa An~ <br /> commence~ to post said notices on the 13th day of August, 1927, and <br /> fully completed the pcs ting thereof on the 13th day of Augus t, 1927, <br /> more than ten (10) days before the date set for hearing protests or <br /> objections to the proposed work and improvement, all as appears from <br /> the affidavit of C. L. Jenken, Street Superintendent of the City of <br /> Santa Ana~ filed in the office of the Clerk of said City on the 18th <br /> day of August, 1927, and now on file therein; aud <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Ara was d~l'. <br /> and regularly in session at the Council Chamber thereof at the hour <br /> of 7:30 o'clock P. ~. on Monday, the 29th day of August, 1927, being <br /> the ti~,e, hour and place named in the Resolution of Intentim and <br /> Notice of Improvement, when and where any and all l~rsons having any <br /> objections to the proposed work or improvement may a~ppmarsbefor~ <br /> <br /> <br />
