RESOLUTION NO. 1814 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY CO~CIL OP THE CI~I~ OF <br /> SANTA ANA, CALIFG~NIA, RELATING TO THE ISSUANCE OF <br /> S~T I~PROVENd~NT BONDS, PURSUANT TO RESOLUTION 0F <br /> INTENTION NO. 16~6, DE~ERNINING THE A~0UNT 0P UNPAID <br /> ASSESSNENTS, PRESCRIBING THE DEN0~INATION 0F EUCH <br /> BONDS, AND PROVIDING FOR THEIR ISSUANCE IN A~UAL <br /> SERIES. <br /> <br /> ~HEREAS, pursuant to .statute, notice of filing llst of <br /> unpaid assessments was duly given in the manner and form required <br /> by law, that the warrant, assessment and diagram was recorded on <br /> the 26th day of July, 192~, for the work and improvement made by <br /> T. Wo 0gleeby~ under that certain contract awarded to him on the <br /> 29th day of November, 1928, upon Occidental Street, as set forth in <br /> Resolution of Intention No. 18~q6; and that said warrant, assessment <br /> and diagram ~ere~returned to the Street Superintendent of said Ctt <br /> together with a written statement of all payments received upon <br /> the said assessment; and after the full expiration of twenty (20) <br /> days from the date of said warrant, the said Street Superintendent <br /> duly made and filed with the City Clerk of the said City of Santa <br /> Ana, a complete list of all assessments unpaid upon the eald asses~ <br /> ment,'whlch llst is now on file in the office of the City Clerk of <br /> the said City of Santa Ana; now upon evidence shown, this Council <br /> detern~nes that the assessments therein mentioned were then unpaid~ <br /> the total aggregate thereof being the cum of Nine Thousand~ Seven <br /> Hundred Twenty-seven and 08/1OO Dollarm, ~$9,72V,08), andthat ther~ <br /> now remain~ t~apaid the sum of Nine Thousand, Seven Hundred Twenty- <br /> seven and 08/100 Dollars, ($9,72V.06), upon the assessments shown <br /> upon said llst. <br /> <br /> . Reference is hereby made to Resolution of Intention No. <br /> 1696 of the Board of Trustees, now known as the City Council, of th~ <br /> City of Santa Ana, passed on the 25th day of October, 1926, for a <br /> complete description of the wo~ mentioned and to the list of unpai~ <br /> assessments filed as above stated, ~or the assessments ~paid. <br /> <br /> AND WHEREAS, interested persons were notified in the <br />manner required by law to appear before the City Council of the Cit <br />of Santa Ana~. California, in the Council Chamber of the City Ball <br />said City at the hour of V:~O o'clock P. ~. on Nonday, the 29th day <br />of August, 1~27~ and show cause why bonds should not be issued upon <br />the security of the unpaid assessments shown on the ~aid Street <br />Superintendent's list; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, notice was duly given, in the manner and form <br />required by law, that serial bonds to represent unpaid assessments <br />bearing interest at the rate of six per cent per annum will be issu <br />hereunder in the manner provided in the"Improvement Bond Act of <br />191S", the last Installment of which bonds shall mature nine (9) <br />years from the 2nd day of July, next succeeding ten months from the: <br />date, and all interested persons h~vlng appeared before this City <br />Council ahd having been given full opportunity to chow cause why <br /> <br /> <br />
