RESOLUTION NO. 1814 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY CO~CIL OP THE CI~I~ OF SANTA ANA, CALIFG~NIA, RELATING TO THE ISSUANCE OF S~T I~PROVENd~NT BONDS, PURSUANT TO RESOLUTION 0F INTENTION NO. 16~6, DE~ERNINING THE A~0UNT 0P UNPAID ASSESSNENTS, PRESCRIBING THE DEN0~INATION 0F EUCH BONDS, AND PROVIDING FOR THEIR ISSUANCE IN A~UAL SERIES. ~HEREAS, pursuant to .statute, notice of filing llst of unpaid assessments was duly given in the manner and form required by law, that the warrant, assessment and diagram was recorded on the 26th day of July, 192~, for the work and improvement made by T. Wo 0gleeby~ under that certain contract awarded to him on the 29th day of November, 1928, upon Occidental Street, as set forth in Resolution of Intention No. 18~q6; and that said warrant, assessment and diagram ~ere~returned to the Street Superintendent of said Ctt together with a written statement of all payments received upon the said assessment; and after the full expiration of twenty (20) days from the date of said warrant, the said Street Superintendent duly made and filed with the City Clerk of the said City of Santa Ana, a complete list of all assessments unpaid upon the eald asses~ ment,'whlch llst is now on file in the office of the City Clerk of the said City of Santa Ana; now upon evidence shown, this Council detern~nes that the assessments therein mentioned were then unpaid~ the total aggregate thereof being the cum of Nine Thousand~ Seven Hundred Twenty-seven and 08/1OO Dollarm, ~$9,72V,08), andthat ther~ now remain~ t~apaid the sum of Nine Thousand, Seven Hundred Twenty- seven and 08/100 Dollars, ($9,72V.06), upon the assessments shown upon said llst. . Reference is hereby made to Resolution of Intention No. 1696 of the Board of Trustees, now known as the City Council, of th~ City of Santa Ana, passed on the 25th day of October, 1926, for a complete description of the wo~ mentioned and to the list of unpai~ assessments filed as above stated, ~or the assessments ~paid. AND WHEREAS, interested persons were notified in the manner required by law to appear before the City Council of the Cit of Santa Ana~. California, in the Council Chamber of the City Ball said City at the hour of V:~O o'clock P. ~. on Nonday, the 29th day of August, 1~27~ and show cause why bonds should not be issued upon the security of the unpaid assessments shown on the ~aid Street Superintendent's list; and WHEREAS, notice was duly given, in the manner and form required by law, that serial bonds to represent unpaid assessments bearing interest at the rate of six per cent per annum will be issu hereunder in the manner provided in the"Improvement Bond Act of 191S", the last Installment of which bonds shall mature nine (9) years from the 2nd day of July, next succeeding ten months from the: date, and all interested persons h~vlng appeared before this City Council ahd having been given full opportunity to chow cause why
