RESOLUTION NO. 1826 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION OVERRULING PROTESTS OR OBJECTIONS <br /> TO ASSESSMENT, APPROVING ASSESSMENT AND ORDERING <br /> THE STREET SUPERINTENDENT TO ATTACH WARRANT AND <br /> RECORD. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees, of the City of <br />Santa Ana did on the 28th day of February, 1927, pass <br />Resolution of Intention No. 1V30 for the improvement of East <br />Washington Avenue in said city from the easterly termination <br />of the present pavement which is near the west line of Linco] <br />Avenue to the center line of Grand Avenue; and whereas, ~ <br />the ~lst day of September, 192V, the Superintendent of Street <br />of said city filed an assessment to cover the sum due for the <br />work performed and specified in the contract made under pro- <br />ceedings for the said improvement, which assessment diagram <br />was approved by the Board of Trustees of the City of Santa <br />Aua, on the 5th day of July, 192V. <br /> <br /> AND WHEREAS, the Clerk of the City of banta Aha has <br />given notice ~s required by law, and in t~s Notice, October <br />10th, 1927, at the hour of V:30 o'clock P. N. was fixed as <br />the time, and the Council Chamber of the City Hall of said <br />City as the place where any and all persons interested in the <br />said work done, or in the assessment will be heard; and <br />whereas, no objections to said assessment were filed or made <br />at said hearing; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, tdts being the time and place specified in <br />said notice at which the hearing of protests or objections <br />against said work done or said assessment would be heard, <br />the City Council being now in regular session, and there <br />being no protests on file or made against said assessment; <br />it is hereby <br /> <br /> RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Santa <br />Ana that the assessment be confirmed, and that the Street <br />Superintendent be, and he is hereby directed to attach to <br />assessment a warrant in the form and manner required by law, <br />and shall record the same in the office of said Supertntenden <br />of Streets. <br /> <br /> I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was <br />duly and regularly passed by the City Council of the City of <br />banta Ana, at an adjourned regula~ meeting of s~d City Coun( <br />held on the lQ h day of October, 1927, by the following vote: <br /> <br />AYES, TRUSTEES: J.L.McBride, W.J.Kelly, W.O.Knox, <br /> Stanley E.
