RESOLUTION NO. 1828 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SANTA iNA, CALIFORNIA, R?I~TING TO <br />THE ISSUANCE OF STREET IMPROVEMENT BONDS <br />PURSUANT TO RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO. 1740, <br />DETERMINING THE AMOUNT OF UNPAID ASSESSMENTS; <br />PRESCRIBING THE DENOMINATION OF SUCH BO~S <br />AND PROVIDING FOR THEIR IliSUANCE IN ANNUAL <br />SERIES: <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br />of unpaid assessments <br />required by law, that <br />recorded on the 30th <br /> <br />pursuant to statute, notice of filing llst <br /> was duly given in the manner and form <br /> <br /> the warrant, assessment and diagram was <br /> day of August, 1927, for the work and <br /> <br />improvement made by Drew A. bernard, under that certain con- <br />tract awarded to him on the 9th day of May, 1927, upon Third <br />Street from Broadway to French Street, Fourth Street from Ros <br />Street to Main Street, and North Sycamore Street from First <br />Street to Church Street; and that said warrant, assessment <br />and diagram were returned to the Street Superintendent of <br />said City, together with a written statement of all payments <br />received upon the said assessment; and after the fUll expirat <br />of thirty (30) days after the date of recording of said <br />warrant, the said Street Superintendent duly made and filed <br />with the City Clerk of said City of Santa Ana, a complete <br />list of all assessments unpaid upon the said assessment, <br />which list is now on file in the Office of the City Clerk of <br />said City; now upon evidence shown, this City Council determ~ <br />that the assessments therein mentioned were then unpaid, <br />the total aggregate thereof being the sum of $11,685.82, and <br />that there has been paid since the filing of the list of <br />unpaid assessments by the Street Superintendent, the followin <br />assessments, to-wit: Assessment No. 43 for $471.06, Assessme <br />No. 54 for $533.76, Assessment No. 55 for $194.63, Assessmen <br />No. 139 for $194.62, and Assessment No. 154 for $194.62, and <br />that there now remains unpaid the sum of Nine Thousand Nine <br />Hundred Two and 50/100 Dollars ($9,902.50), upon the assess- <br />merit shown upon said list. <br /> <br /> Reference is hereby made to Resolution of Intention <br />No. 1740 of the Board of T~ustees of the City of Santa Aha, <br />passed on the 21st day of March, 1927, for a complete <br />description of the work herein mentioned, and to the llst of <br />unpaid assessments filed as above stated for the assessments <br />unpaid; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, interested persons were notified in the <br />manner required by law to appear before the City Council in <br />the Council Chamber of the City Hall of said City at the hour <br />of 7:30 o'clock P.
