Jenken, said Street Superintendent, who personally posted said notices of improvement; and 9HEREAS, the Street Superintendent of the City of Santa Ana, commenced to post said notices on the 1st day of November, 1927, and fully completed the posting thereof on the 1st day of November, date set for hearing work and improvement, 192Y, more than ten (10) days before the protests or objections to the proposed all as appears from the affidavit of C.L. Jenken, Street ~uperintendent of the City of Santa Ana, filed in the Office of the Clerk of said City on the ~d day of November, 1927, and now on file therein; and ~q~EREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Ana was duly and regularly in session at the Council Chamber there-' of at the hour of 7:30 o'clock P.M. on Monday, the 14th day of November, 1929, being the time, hour and place named in the Resolution of Intention and Notice of Improvement, when and where any and all persons having any objection to the proposed work or improvement may appear before the City Council and show cause why said proposed work should not be carried out in accordance with said Resolution of Intention No. 1834; and ~qtEREAS, all protests o~ objections presented having been disposed of, overruled and denied, in time, manner and form as required by law, and the City Council of the City of Santa Aha having acquired Jurisdiction to order the proposed work done and improvement made; IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Santa Rna that the public interest and convenience re- quires the work done and improvement made particularly set forth and described in Resolution of Intention No. 1834, which is dated the 24th day of October, 19~?, on file in the office of the Clerk of said City and hereby referred to ~nd made a part hereof, and the City Co~mcll of the City of Santa Ana here~ by orders the work to be done and inkorovement to be made in said City, as particularly set forth an8 8esc~ibed in the said Resolution of Intention No. 1834 as aforesaid. That the expense of said work and improvement is by said Resolution of Intention made chargeable upon a district, which said 8istrict is descetbed in and by the said Resolution of Intention and is shown by a plat or map thereof on file in the office of the City Engineer. The Clerk of the Gi.ty of Santa Ana is hereby directedi to post a notice of said work, together with the specifications' therefor, conspicuously for five days on or near the C~uncll Chamber door of said City Council, inviting sealed proposals bids for doing the work ordered. He is also directed to pub- lish twice a notice inviting such proposals and referring to the specifications posted or on file in the Santa Rna Daily Evening Regi:~ber, a dai. ly newspaper pubiished and circulate8 in the City of Santa ~inR, and hereby designated fo~ that purDos~.
