RESOLUTION ORDERING WORK <br /> NO. 1841 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Aha, <br />on the 24th~day of October, 1927, passed its Resolution of <br />Intention No. 18~3 to order the hereinafter described work to <br />be done and improvement to be made in, on and along those <br />open public streets in said city known as Broadway from the <br />North line of Sixth Street to the South line of Santa Clara <br />Avenue, and Fifteenth Street, from the East line of Broadway <br />to a line 125 feet East of and parallel thereto, which Resolu- <br />tion of Intention No. 1853 was duly and legally p~bliahed <br />twice in the Santa Aha Daily Evening Register, a daily newspa- <br />per published and circulated in the City of Santa Ana, as re- <br />quired by law, as appears from the affidavit of Edna L. <br />Herrick, principal clerk of the printers and publishers of <br />said daily newspaper, and which affidavit was filed in the <br />Office of the Clerk of the City of Santa Ana, on the 2Vth day <br />of October, 192V; and <br /> <br /> ~tEREAS, after the passage and adoption of said <br />Resolution of Intention No. 1S33 the Street Superintendent of <br />the City of Santa Aha conspicuously posted along the line of <br />the contemplated work and improvement, at not more than three <br />hundred (300) feet in distance apart, and 84 in all, notices <br /> <br />of the ~ssage <br />OF IMPROVEMENT, <br />by law, and the <br /> <br />of said Resolution of Intention, headed, NOTIC~ <br />in the manner, form and substance as required <br />work being chargeable upon a district, also <br /> <br />conspicuously posted copies of said notice along all of the <br />open streets within such district at not more than three hun- <br />dred (300) feet in distance apart, as appears from the affida- <br />vit of C.L. Jenken, said Street Superintendent, who personally <br />posted said notices of improvement; and <br /> <br /> ¥~EREAS, the Street Superintendent of the City of <br />Santa Ana, con~nenced to post said notices on the 1st day of <br />November, 1927, and fully completed the posting thereof on the <br />1st day of November, 1927, more than ten (10) days before the <br />date set ~or hearing protests or objections to the proposed <br />work and improvement, all as appears from the affidavit of <br /> <br />C. L. Jenken, Street Superintendent of the City of Santa Ana, <br />filed in the Office of the Clerk of said City on the 1st day <br />of November, 1927, and now on file therein; and <br /> <br /> %¥HEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Ana <br />was duly and regularly in session at the Council Chamber there <br />of at the hour of 7:30 o'clock P.M. on Monday, the 14th day of <br />November; 1927, being the time, hour and place named in the <br />Resolution of Intention and Notice of Improvement, when and <br />where any and all persons having any objection to the proposed <br /> <br />work or improvement may appear before the City Council and <br /> <br />sh°w cause why said P~°p°sed w°rk sh°uld n°t be carri~d °ut in <br />accordance with said Resolution of Intention No. 1833, and <br /> <br /> <br />
