RESOLUTION OF INTENTION <br /> No. 1846 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA, DECLARING THEIR INTENTION TO ORDER <br />THE PAVING AND OTHER%¥ISE IMPROVING OF GRAND AVE- <br />NUE FROM THE NORTH LINE OF FIRST STREET TO THE <br />CENTER LINE OF FOURTH STREET; DECLARING THE SAID <br />WORK AND IMPROVEMENT TO BE OF MOHE THAN LOCAL OR <br />ORDINARY PUBLIC BENEFIT; DECLARING THE DISTRICT <br />TO BE BENEFITED THEREBY AND TO BE ASSESSED TO PAY <br />THE COSTS AND EXPENSES THEREOF; DETERMINING THAT <br />BONDS SHALL BE ISSUED TO REPRESENT SAID COSTS AND <br />EXPENSES, AND FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE FOR HEAR- <br />ING OBJECTIONS TO SAID WORK OR IMPROVENENT, OR TO <br />THE EXTENT OF THE DISTRICT TO BE ASSESSED OR BOTH. <br /> <br /> The City Council of the City of Santa Aha pursuant <br />to the provisions of. the Improvement Act of 1911 and the <br /> <br />Improvement Bond Act <br />resolve as follows: <br /> <br /> Section 1. <br /> <br />of 1915, and amendments to said acts, dc <br /> <br />That the public interest and convenienc~ <br /> <br />requires and it is the intention of the City Council of the <br />City of Santa Ana, California, to order the construction of <br />the following described work and improvement in said City, <br />to-wit: <br /> <br /> That Grand Avenue f~om the North line of First <br />Street as it exists West of Grand Avenue to the center line <br />of Fourth Street, excepting therefrom such portions of said <br />street as are already improvWd to the official grade, be <br />graded and paved with asphaltic concrete pavement 9rem curb <br />line to curb line, and where cross streets intersect the <br />grading and paving shall extend beyond the curb lines to the <br />extended property lines of said streets, except such portions <br />of said streets as are already paved to the official grade; <br />the grading and paving with asphaltic concrete pavement of <br />all driveways shown on the plans to be paved for th%ir entire <br />width and from the street side of the curb to the street side <br />of the sidewalk, all as particularly indicated on and in <br />accordance with the plans and specifications hereinafter men- <br />tioned. <br /> <br /> The excavation for and construction of Portland <br />Cement Concrete Sidewalks upon and along the above described <br />street, except where sidewalks now exist~ unless replacements <br />are to be made, all as particularly indicated on and in accor, <br />ance with the plans and specifications hereinafter mentioned. <br /> <br /> The excavation for and construction of Portland <br /> Cement Concrete Curbs upon and along the above described <br /> street, where curbs do not now exist, or where replacements <br /> are to be made, all as particularly indicated on and in ac- <br /> cordance with plans and specifications hereinafter mentioned. <br /> <br /> The excavation of trenches and the furnishing and <br /> laying therein of Salt Glazed Vitrified Clay House Connecting <br /> Sewers, laid to such depths and at such locations as shown on <br /> the plans and specifications hereinafter mentioned. <br /> <br /> <br />
