RESOLUTION OF INTENTION No. 1846 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA, DECLARING THEIR INTENTION TO ORDER THE PAVING AND OTHER%¥ISE IMPROVING OF GRAND AVE- NUE FROM THE NORTH LINE OF FIRST STREET TO THE CENTER LINE OF FOURTH STREET; DECLARING THE SAID WORK AND IMPROVEMENT TO BE OF MOHE THAN LOCAL OR ORDINARY PUBLIC BENEFIT; DECLARING THE DISTRICT TO BE BENEFITED THEREBY AND TO BE ASSESSED TO PAY THE COSTS AND EXPENSES THEREOF; DETERMINING THAT BONDS SHALL BE ISSUED TO REPRESENT SAID COSTS AND EXPENSES, AND FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE FOR HEAR- ING OBJECTIONS TO SAID WORK OR IMPROVENENT, OR TO THE EXTENT OF THE DISTRICT TO BE ASSESSED OR BOTH. The City Council of the City of Santa Aha pursuant to the provisions of. the Improvement Act of 1911 and the Improvement Bond Act resolve as follows: Section 1. of 1915, and amendments to said acts, dc That the public interest and convenienc~ requires and it is the intention of the City Council of the City of Santa Ana, California, to order the construction of the following described work and improvement in said City, to-wit: That Grand Avenue f~om the North line of First Street as it exists West of Grand Avenue to the center line of Fourth Street, excepting therefrom such portions of said street as are already improvWd to the official grade, be graded and paved with asphaltic concrete pavement 9rem curb line to curb line, and where cross streets intersect the grading and paving shall extend beyond the curb lines to the extended property lines of said streets, except such portions of said streets as are already paved to the official grade; the grading and paving with asphaltic concrete pavement of all driveways shown on the plans to be paved for th%ir entire width and from the street side of the curb to the street side of the sidewalk, all as particularly indicated on and in accordance with the plans and specifications hereinafter men- tioned. The excavation for and construction of Portland Cement Concrete Sidewalks upon and along the above described street, except where sidewalks now exist~ unless replacements are to be made, all as particularly indicated on and in accor, ance with the plans and specifications hereinafter mentioned. The excavation for and construction of Portland Cement Concrete Curbs upon and along the above described street, where curbs do not now exist, or where replacements are to be made, all as particularly indicated on and in ac- cordance with plans and specifications hereinafter mentioned. The excavation of trenches and the furnishing and laying therein of Salt Glazed Vitrified Clay House Connecting Sewers, laid to such depths and at such locations as shown on the plans and specifications hereinafter mentioned.
