RESOLUTION OF INTENTION <br /> NO. 1858 <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF SANTA ANA, DECLARING THEIR INTENTION TO <br /> ORDER THE PAVING AND OTHERWISE IMPROVING OF <br /> FRANKLIN STREET FROM MYRTLE STREET TO FIRST <br /> STREET· DECLARING THE SAID WORK AND IMPROVEMENT <br /> TO BE OF MORE THAN LOCAL OR OR.NARY PUBLIC <br /> BENEFIT; DECLARING THE DISTRICT TO BE BENEFITED <br /> THEREBY AND TO BE ASSESSED TO PAY THE COSTS AND <br /> EXPENSES THEREOF; DETERMINING THAT BONDS SHALL <br /> BE ISSUED TO REPRESENT SAIl) COSTS AND EXPENSES; <br /> AND FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE FOR HEARING <br /> OBJECTIONS TO SAID W(EK OR IMPROVEMENT, OR TO <br /> THE EXTENT OF THE DISTRICT TO BE ASSESSED, OR <br /> BOTH: <br /> <br /> The City Council of the City of Santa Ans, pursuant <br /> to the provisions of the improvement Act of 1911 and the <br /> Improvement Bond Act of 1915, and amendments to eaid acts, do <br /> resolve as follows: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the public interest and convenienc <br /> requires, and it is the intention of the City Council of the <br /> City of Santa Aha, California, to order the construction of tl <br /> following described work and improvement in said City, to-wit: <br /> <br /> · That Franklin Street, from the North line of Myrtle <br /> <br />Street to the South line of First Street, be graded and paved <br />with asphaltic concrete pavement from curb line to curb line, <br />and where cross streets intersect, the grading and paving shal <br />extend beyond the curb lines to the extended property lines of <br />said street; the grading and peeving with asphaltic concrete <br />pavement of all driveways shown on the plans to be paved for <br />their entire width and from the street side of the curb to <br />the street side of the sidewalks all as particularly indicat <br />on and in accordance with the plans and specifications here- <br />inafter mentioned. <br /> <br /> The excavation for and construction of Portland <br />Cement Concrete Sidewalks upon and along the above described <br />street, where sidewalks do not now exist, or where replace- <br />ments are to be m~de, all ae particularly indicated on and in <br />accordance with the plans and specifications hereinafter <br />mentioned. <br /> <br /> The excavation for and construction of Portland <br />Cement Concrete Curbs upon and along the above described <br />street, where curbs do not now exist or where replacements <br />to ne made, all as particularly indicated on and in accordanc~ <br />with the plans and specifications hereinafter menticn ed. <br /> <br /> The e~cavation of trenches and the furnishing and <br />laying therein of Salt Glazed Vitrified Clay Pipe House Connec <br />lng Sewers, laid to such depths and at such locations as sho~ <br />on the plans and specifications hereinafter mentioned. <br /> <br />The excavation for and construction of Class "B" <br />Black Dipped Cast Iron ~ater Main, including fire hydrants, <br /> <br /> <br />
