RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO. 1858 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA, DECLARING THEIR INTENTION TO ORDER THE PAVING AND OTHERWISE IMPROVING OF FRANKLIN STREET FROM MYRTLE STREET TO FIRST STREET· DECLARING THE SAID WORK AND IMPROVEMENT TO BE OF MORE THAN LOCAL OR OR.NARY PUBLIC BENEFIT; DECLARING THE DISTRICT TO BE BENEFITED THEREBY AND TO BE ASSESSED TO PAY THE COSTS AND EXPENSES THEREOF; DETERMINING THAT BONDS SHALL BE ISSUED TO REPRESENT SAIl) COSTS AND EXPENSES; AND FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE FOR HEARING OBJECTIONS TO SAID W(EK OR IMPROVEMENT, OR TO THE EXTENT OF THE DISTRICT TO BE ASSESSED, OR BOTH: The City Council of the City of Santa Ans, pursuant to the provisions of the improvement Act of 1911 and the Improvement Bond Act of 1915, and amendments to eaid acts, do resolve as follows: Section 1. That the public interest and convenienc requires, and it is the intention of the City Council of the City of Santa Aha, California, to order the construction of tl following described work and improvement in said City, to-wit: · That Franklin Street, from the North line of Myrtle Street to the South line of First Street, be graded and paved with asphaltic concrete pavement from curb line to curb line, and where cross streets intersect, the grading and paving shal extend beyond the curb lines to the extended property lines of said street; the grading and peeving with asphaltic concrete pavement of all driveways shown on the plans to be paved for their entire width and from the street side of the curb to the street side of the sidewalks all as particularly indicat on and in accordance with the plans and specifications here- inafter mentioned. The excavation for and construction of Portland Cement Concrete Sidewalks upon and along the above described street, where sidewalks do not now exist, or where replace- ments are to be m~de, all ae particularly indicated on and in accordance with the plans and specifications hereinafter mentioned. The excavation for and construction of Portland Cement Concrete Curbs upon and along the above described street, where curbs do not now exist or where replacements to ne made, all as particularly indicated on and in accordanc~ with the plans and specifications hereinafter menticn ed. The e~cavation of trenches and the furnishing and laying therein of Salt Glazed Vitrified Clay Pipe House Connec lng Sewers, laid to such depths and at such locations as sho~ on the plans and specifications hereinafter mentioned.
