RESOLUTION OVERRULING PROTESTS OR OBJECTIONS TO ASSESS~SENT, <br />APPROVING ASSESSmeNT AND ORDERING THE STREET SUPERINTENDENT <br />TO ATTACH WARRAN~ AND RECORD. <br /> <br />NO. 195~ <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Ana, did on the 24th <br />day of October, 1927, pass Resolution of Intention No. 1835 for the improveme~ <br />of Broadway from the North line of Sixth Street to the South line of Santa <br />Clara Avenue and Fifteenth Street, from the East line of Broadway to a line <br />125 feet East of and parallel the~eto; and whereas, on She llth day of April, <br />1928; the Superintendent of Streets of said City filed an assessment to cover <br />the sum due for the wc~k performed and specified in the contract made under <br />proceedings for the said improvement, which assessment diagram was approved by <br />the City Clerk of said City on the 50th day of January, 1928. <br /> · ND ~fEREAS, the Clerk of the City of Santa Ana has given notice <br /> <br />as required by law in which notice April 30, 1928, at the hour of 7:30 o'cloc~ <br />P.M. was fixed as the time, and the Council Chamber of the City Hall of said <br />City as the place where any and all persons interested in the said work might <br />be heard; and whereas, no person aggrieved has filed with the City Council a <br />w~itten objection to said assessment as required by law; and whereas, at the <br />time set for hearing protests or objections the City Council of said City pro- <br />ceeded to hear the same, and all of said protests or objections to said assess- <br />ment or the work done having been heard, it is hereby; <br /> <br /> ~SOLVED,' by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana that all of <br />the said protests or objections against said assessment or the work done under <br />said proceedings be, and the same are hereby overruled and d~nied and the <br />assessment be affirmed, and that the Street SuPerintendent be, and he ia hereb <br />directed to attach to said assessment a warrant in the form and manner require <br />by law, and shall re,rd the same in the office of said Superintendent of <br />Streets~ <br /> <br /> I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularl~ <br />passed by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana, at an adjourned regular <br />meeting thereof held on the 30~h day of April, 1928, by the following vote: <br /> <br />AYES, <br /> <br />NOES, TRUSTEES: None <br /> <br />ABSENT, TRUSTEES: <br /> <br />TRUSTEES: J.L.McBride, ~.J.Kelly, ~.G.Knox~ <br /> Stanley E.
