RESOLUTION NO. 1933 <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITer COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA AMA, <br /> CALIFOENIA, RELATING TO THE ISSUANCE OF STREET ILPROVENENT <br /> BONDS, PURSUANT TO RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO. 1862, DETER- <br /> MINING THE AMOUNT OF UNPAID ASSESSMENTS; PRESCRIBING THE <br /> DENOMINATION OF ~UCH BONDS AND PROVIDING FOR THEIR ISSUANCE <br /> IN ANNUAL SERIES: <br /> <br /> YfHEHEAS, pursuant to statute, notice of the filing of list of <br />unpaid assessments was duly given in the manner and form required by <br />law, that the warrant, assessment and diagram was recorded on the 20th <br />day of March, 1928, for the work and improvement made by Daniel Dekovich <br />under that certain contract awqa'ded to him on the 30~h day of January, <br />1928, upon Towner Street, from the center line of Eighth Street to the <br />center line of Tenth Street, as set forth in Resolution of Intention <br />No. 1862; and that said warrant, assessment and diagram were returned <br />to the Street Superintendent of said City, together with a written <br />statement of all payments received upon the said assessment; and after <br />the full expiration of thirty (30) days after the date of recording of <br />said warrant, the said Street Superintendent duly made and filed with <br />the City Clerk of said City of Santa Ana, a complete list of all assess- <br />ments unpaid upon the said assessment, which list is now on file in the <br />office of the City Clerk of said City; now upon evidence shown, this <br />City Council determines that the assessments therein menti.oned were <br />then unpaid, the total aggregate thereof being the sum of Four Hundred <br />Forty-th~ee and 4V/lO0 Dollars ($443.47), and that no assessments have <br />been paid since the filing of the list of unpaid assessments by the <br />Street Superintendent, and that there now remains unpaid the sum of Four <br />Hundred Forty-th~ee and 4V/lO0 Dollars ($443.AV) upon the assessments <br />shoran upon said list. <br /> <br /> Reference is hereby made to Resolution of Intention No. 1882 <br />of the City Council of the City of Santa Ana, passed on the 2Vth day <br />of December, 192V, for a complete description of the work herein <br />mentioned, and to the list of unpaid assessments filed as above stated <br />for the assessments unpaid; and <br /> <br /> ~/HEREAS, interested persons were notified in the manner <br />required by law to appear before the City Council in the Council <br />Chamber of the City Hall of said City at the hour of 7:30 o'clock P.M. <br />on Monday, the 30th ~ay of April, 1928, and show cause, why bonds should <br />not be issued upon the security of the unpaid assessments shown on the <br />Street Superintendent, s list; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, 'notice was duly given in the manner and form required <br />by law that serial bonds to represent unpaid assessments bearing interes <br />at the rate of six per cent per annum will De issued hereunder in the <br />manner provided in the "Improvement Bond Act of 1915", the last install- <br />ment of which oonds shall mature nine years from the 2nd day of July, <br />next succeeding ten (10) months from their date, and all persons <br />interested having appeared before this City Council and having been <br />given a full opportunity to show cause why bonds should not be issued <br /> <br /> <br />
