RESOLUTION O~1 INTENTION NO. 1938 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF TTM CITY OF SANTA ANA, DECLARING THEIR INTENTIOi~ TO ORDER THYE PAVING OR OTILER~SE IMPROVING OF PORTiONS OF SHELTON STREET, BAKER STREET, FIRST STREET AND SECOND STREET; DECLARING THE SAID WORK AND IMPROVE~NT TO BE OF MORE THAN LOCAL 0R ORDINARY PUBLIC BENEFIT; DECLARING THE DISTRICT T0 BE BENEFITED THEREBY AND TO BE ASSESSED TO PAY THE COSTS AND EXPENSES THEREOF; DETERMINING THAT BONDS SHALL BE ISSUED TO REPEESENT SAID COSTS AND EXPENSES AND FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE FOR HEAR- ING OBJECTIONS TO SAID WORK OR IMPROVEMENT, OR TO THE EXTENT OF THE DISTRICT TO BE ASSESSED, OR BOTH; The City Council of the City of Santa Aha, pursuant to the provisions of the Improvement Act of 1911 and the Improvement Bond Act of 1918, and amendments to said acts, do resolve as follows: Section 1. 'l~at the public interest and convenience requires and it is the intention of the City Council of the City of Santa Ana~ California, to order the construction of the ~ollowing described work and improvement in said City, to-wit: That the portions of streets in the City of Santa Ana upon which work shall be done and improvements made as hereinafter set forth are upon and along tho~e open pub±lc streets commonly known as and call Shelton Street, from the North line of First Street to the South line of Fourth Street; Baker Street, from the Center line of First Street to the South line of Fourt~ Street; the North one-half of First Street, from the ~est line of Bakmr Street to a line drawn parallel to and distant 103.S feet West of the ~est line of ~aker Street; the North one- half of Second Street, from the ~est line of Baker ~treet to a line drawn parallel to and distant S2 feet Nest of the West line of Baker Street; excepting therefrom any of said work already done to the official grade, and all as particularly indicated on and in accordance with the plans and specifications hereinafter mentioned. That the work to be done and improvements to be made upon and along the hereinbefore described portions of said streets, in accor~ ance with the plans and specifications therefor on file in the office of the City Clerk, shall be as follows: That the heretnoefore described portion of Shelton Street be graded and paved with Portland Cement Ooncrete Pavement, from curb line to curb line, and where alleys intersect the paving shall extend beyond the curb Lines to the extended property lines of said street, all as particularly indicated on and in accordance with the plans and spec-. ifications hereinafter mentioned. That all driveways upon the hereinbefore ~escribed portion of Shelton Street be graded and paved with Portland Cement Concrete Pavemez as indicated on the plans and specifications, from the curb line ~o the street side of the sidewalk, unless otherwise indicated on the plans. The excavation for and construction of Po~tland Cement Concre~ curbs upon and along all of the hereinbefore described portions of streets, where curbs do not now exist, or where replacements are to be made, all as particularly indicated on and in accordance with the plans
