public benefit~ and the e~pense of said work and improvement is made chargeable upon the district hereinafter described, and said City Counc~ does hereby declare said district to be the district benefited by said work and improvement and to be assessed to pay the costs and expenses thereof, which district is bounded and described as follows, to-wit: Located in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of California, and described as follows: Beginning at a point in the center line of First Street, said point being 80 feet Easterly from the Southerly extension of the Easterly line of Shelton Street as it~exists North of First ~treet; thence Westerly along the center line of First Street to an intersection with the Southerly extended Westerly line of Lot 3, Block A, of Bessonett Tract, as per map thereof, on file in Book 24, Page 73, Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles County, California; thence Northerly along said South- erly extension and along the Westerly line of said Lot 3, to the Northwesterly corner thereof; thence Easterly along the Northerly line of said Lot 3 to ~he Northeasterly corner thereof, said point being also 82 feet Westerly from the Westerly line of Baker Street; thence Northerly along a line drawn parallel to and distant 82 feet Westerly from the Westerly line of Baker Street to an intersection with the Southerly line of Fourth Street; thence Easterly along th~ Southerly line of Fourth Street to an intersection with a line drawn parallel to and distant 50 feet Easterly from the Easterly line of Baker Street; thence Southerly along said line drawn parallel to and distant 50 feet Easterly f~em the Easterly line of Baker Street to an intersection with the Northerly line of First Street; thence Easterly along the Northerly line of First Street to the South- westerly corner of Lot lA, Block §, of Baldwin's Addition as per map thereof o~ file in Book 29, Page V4, Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles County; thence Northerly along the Westerly line of Lots lA and i of Block 5 of said Baldwin's Addition to an intersection with the Southerly line of Second Street; thence Northerly in a straight line to the Southwesterly corner of Lot 10, Block 2, of said Baldwin's Addition; thence Northerly along the Westerly line of Lots 15 and I of Block 2 of said Baldwin's AdditiOn to an intersection with the Southerly line of Third Street; thence Northerly in a straightline to the Southwesterly corner of Lot 20, Block C, of Shelton and Duells Addition as per map thereof on file in Book 18, Page 15, Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles County; thence Northerly along the Westerly line of Lots 20 and I of Block C of said Shelton and Duells Addition to an intersection with the Southerly line of Fourth Street; thence Easterly along the Southerly line of Fourth Street to an inter- section with a line drawn parallel to and distant 350 feet Easterly from the Easterly line of Shelton Street; thence South- erly along said line drawn ps~allel to and distant 350 feet East- erly from the Easterly line of Sheltqn Street to an intersection with the Northerly line of Third Street; thence West~ly along the Northerly line of Third Street to an intersection with a line drawn parallel to and distant 50 feet Easterly from the Easterly line of Shelton Street; thence Squtherly along said line drawn parallel to and distant 80 feet Easterly from the Easterly line of Shelton Street to the point of beginning. TIME AND PLACE OF HEARING Section 6j Notice is hereby given that on the 28th day of May, 1928, at V:30 o~ clock P.M. in the Council Chamber ~ the City Hall of said City of Santa Ana any and all persons having any objections to the proposed work or improvement .may appear before the said City Counci~ and show cause why said~proposed improvement should not be carried out in accordance with this Resolution.. That all persons desiring to so appear should file with the City Clerk of the City of Santa Ana, before the hour herein set, a written protest against the said work or the assessment district pro- posed to be assessed, or both. PUBLICATION OF RESOLUTION OF INTENTION Section 7.
