RESOLUTION ORDERING WORK

<br /> V~tEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Ana, on the
<br />16th day of April, 1928, passed its Resolution of Intention No. 1921,
<br />to order the hereinafter described work to be done and improvement to
<br />be made in, on and along portions of those open public streets in said
<br />City, con~nonly known as Olive Street, Gar~sey Street and Pine Street,
<br />which Resolution of Intention No.1921 was duly and legally published
<br />twice in the Santa Ana Daily Evening Register, a daily newspaper pub-
<br />lished and circulated in the City of Santa Ana, all as required by law,
<br />as appears from the affidavit of W. Lee Millis, principal clerk of the
<br />printers and publishers of said daily newspaper, and which affidavit wa:
<br />filed in the office of the Clerk of the City of Santa Aha, on the 20th
<br />day of April, 1928; and
<br />
<br /> V~EREAS, after the passage and adoption of said Resolution of
<br />Intention No. 1921, the Street Superintendent of the City of Santa Ana
<br />conspicuously posted along the line of the contemplated work and improw
<br />ment, at not more than three hundred (300) feet in distance apart, and
<br />57 in all, notices of the passage of said Resolution of Intention,
<br />headed, NOTICE OF IMPROVEMENT, in the manner, form and substance as re-
<br />quired by law, and the work being chargeable upon a district, also con-
<br />spicuouslyposted copies of said notice along all of the open streets
<br />within such district at not more than three hundred (300) feet in
<br />distance apart, as appears from the affidavit of C. L. Jenken, said
<br />Street Superintendent, who personally posted said notices of improvemez
<br />and
<br />
<br /> ~HEREAS, the Street Superintendent of the City of Santa Ana,
<br />commenced to post said notices on the 24th day of April, 1928, and full
<br />completed the posting thereof on the 24th day of April, 1928, more than
<br />ten (10) days before the date set for hearing prote~ts or objections to
<br />the proposed work and improvement, all as appears from the affidavit of
<br />C.L.Jenken, Street Superintendent of the City of Santa Ana, filed in the
<br />office of the Clerk of said City on the 25th day of April, 1928, and nov
<br />on file therein; and
<br />
<br /> V~REAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Aha was duly
<br />and regularly in session at the Council Chamber thereof at the hour of
<br />7:30 o~ clock P.M. on Monday, the 7th day of May, 1928, being the time,
<br />hour and place named in the Resolution of Intention and Notice of
<br />Improvement, when and where any and all persons having any objection to
<br />the proposed work or improvement may appear before the City Council and
<br />show cause why said proposed work should not be carried out in accord-
<br />ance with said Resolution of Intention No. 1921; and
<br />
<br /> ~HEREAS, all protests or objections p~esent~d having been dis-
<br />posed of, overruled and denied, in time, manner and form req~ired by
<br />law, and the City Council of the City of Santa Ana having acquired juris
<br />diction tO order the proposed work done and improvement made;
