34(: t~ESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEM~.NT NO. 1937 WBF. JtEAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Ana on the ~nd day of April, 1928, passed its Resolution of Intention No. 1913 to ordex the hereinafter described improvement to be made and public work to be done in the City of Santa Aha; and WHEREAS, after the passage and adoption of Resolution of Intention No. 1913, the Street ~uperintendent of the City of Santa Ana conspicuously posted along the line of the contemplated work and improvement at not m~.e than three hundred (300) feet in distance apart and 3 in all notices of the passage of said Resolution of Intention, headed NOTICE OF PUBLIC WORK, in manner, form and substance as required by law, and said Street Superintendent also caused a notice similar in substance to be pablished for a period of ten (10) days in the Santa Aha Daily Evening Register, a daily newspaper published and circulated in the City of Santa Ana, and named by said City Council in said Resolution of Intention as the paper in which said notices should appea~ all as ap~ ars from the affidavit of W. Lee Millis, principal Clerk of the printers and publishers of said daily newspaper, aad which affidavit was filed in the office of the Clerk of the City of Santa Ana on the 14th day of April, 1928, and is now on file therein; and WHEREAS, the Street Superintendent of the City of Santa Aha commenced to post the notices hereinbefore referred to on the 5th day o~ 4pr£1, 1928, and fully completed the posting thereof on the 5th day of April, 1928, as appears from the affidavit of Clyde L. Jenken, Street Superintendent of the City of Santa Aha, and more than ten days having expired after the expiration of the time of the publication of said notice within which protests or objections to the proposed work or improvement might be made by any person interested objecting to said wo~ or improvement, or to the extent of the district or lands to be affecte~ or benefited by said work and improvement, and to be assessed to pay thc costs and expenses thereof; and WHEREAS, at the next meeting of the City Council after the expiration of said ten (10) days after the expiration of the time of thc publication of said notice, and no objection to said wc~k or improvement having been made, or on file, why said proposed improvement should not be carried out in accordance with said Resolution of Intention, and the City Council of the City of Santa Ana having now ack, Ii. red Jurisdiction to order the proposed improvement; IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED AND ORDERED: That the public interest and convenience requires the work hereinafter described, and the Oity Council of the City of Santa Ana hereby orders the following work to be Gone and improvement made in the City of Santa Aha, as follows: That the following pc~tion of Spurgeon Street, also known as French Street in said City of Santa Ana be closed up and abandoned,
