JtEAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Ana on the ~nd <br /> day of April, 1928, passed its Resolution of Intention No. 1913 to ordex <br /> <br /> the hereinafter described improvement to be made and public work to be <br /> done in the City of Santa Aha; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, after the passage and adoption of Resolution of <br />Intention No. 1913, the Street ~uperintendent of the City of Santa Ana <br />conspicuously posted along the line of the contemplated work and <br />improvement at not m~.e than three hundred (300) feet in distance apart <br />and 3 in all notices of the passage of said Resolution of Intention, <br />headed NOTICE OF PUBLIC WORK, in manner, form and substance as required <br />by law, and said Street Superintendent also caused a notice similar in <br />substance to be pablished for a period of ten (10) days in the Santa <br />Aha Daily Evening Register, a daily newspaper published and circulated <br />in the City of Santa Ana, and named by said City Council in said <br />Resolution of Intention as the paper in which said notices should appea~ <br />all as ap~ ars from the affidavit of W. Lee Millis, principal Clerk of <br />the printers and publishers of said daily newspaper, aad which affidavit <br />was filed in the office of the Clerk of the City of Santa Ana on the <br />14th day of April, 1928, and is now on file therein; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Street Superintendent of the City of Santa Aha <br />commenced to post the notices hereinbefore referred to on the 5th day o~ <br />4pr£1, 1928, and fully completed the posting thereof on the 5th day of <br />April, 1928, as appears from the affidavit of Clyde L. Jenken, Street <br />Superintendent of the City of Santa Aha, and more than ten days having <br />expired after the expiration of the time of the publication of said <br />notice within which protests or objections to the proposed work or <br />improvement might be made by any person interested objecting to said wo~ <br />or improvement, or to the extent of the district or lands to be affecte~ <br />or benefited by said work and improvement, and to be assessed to pay thc <br />costs and expenses thereof; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, at the next meeting of the City Council after the <br />expiration of said ten (10) days after the expiration of the time of thc <br />publication of said notice, and no objection to said wc~k or improvement <br />having been made, or on file, why said proposed improvement should not <br />be carried out in accordance with said Resolution of Intention, and the <br />City Council of the City of Santa Ana having now ack, Ii. red Jurisdiction <br />to order the proposed improvement; <br /> <br /> IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED AND ORDERED: That the public interest <br />and convenience requires the work hereinafter described, and the Oity <br />Council of the City of Santa Ana hereby orders the following work to <br />be Gone and improvement made in the City of Santa Aha, as follows: <br /> <br /> That the following pc~tion of Spurgeon Street, also known as <br />French Street in said City of Santa Ana be closed up and abandoned, <br /> <br /> <br />
