RESOLUTION FOR SALF~ OF CERTAIN REAL <br />PROPERTY OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANAo <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1940 <br /> <br /> '~HEREAS, it satisfactorily appearing to the City Council of <br />the City of Santa Aha that it would be for the benefit and best interest <br />of the City of Santa &ua to sell the real property hereinafter describe. <br />and <br /> <br /> V~LEREAS, it further satisfactorily appearing to said ~ity <br />Council that the said real property is unsuitable for the purposes for <br />which it is now being used; and <br /> <br /> ~THEREAS, an adequate and sufficient consideration has been <br />offered to the City of Santa Ana for said described real property by <br />Garden Grove Home ~uilders, a Corporation; <br /> <br /> NO¥1, ~tEHEFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That it would be for the <br />benefit and best interest of the City of Santa Aha that the following <br />described real property belonging to ~aid City of Santa Ana, situated i~ <br />the said City of Santa &ua, County of Orange, State of California, and <br />particularly described as follows, to-wit: <br /> <br /> A portion of Lots 28 and 29, Block "C", Mcfadden and <br /> Crane's Addition described as beginning at the Northeasterly <br /> corner of Lot 4, Block "A", of Tract No. 101, as recorded in <br /> Miscellaneous Maps, Book ll, Page l, Records of Orange County, <br /> California; thence Westerly along the Northerly line of said <br /> Lot 4 to the Northwesterly corner thereof; thence Northerly <br /> along the Northerly extended ~esterly line of said Lot 4, a <br /> distance of 80 feet to a point; thence Easterly and parallel <br /> to the Northerly line of said Lot 4, to an intersection with <br /> the Northerly extended Easterly line thereof; thence Southerly <br /> along the said last described line a distance of 50 feet to <br /> the point of beginning, <br /> <br />be sold for the sum of $1SO.O0, to Garden Grove Home Builders, a <br />Corporation, and upon payment of said sum to the City of Santa Ana that <br />a good and sufficient deed be executed and delivered forthwith to the <br />said Garden Grove Home Builders, a corporation, by the City of Santa Ana <br />a Municipal Corporation, and that the MSyor of the City of Santa Ana and <br />the City Clerk of said City respectively execute said deed on behalf of <br />the said City of Santa &ua, conveying all of the right, title and intere <br />of the City of Santa Ana in said real property to the said purchasers~ <br /> <br /> I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and <br />regularly introduced, passed and adopted by the City Council of the Cit <br />of Santa &ua, at an adjourned regular meeting thereof held on the l~th <br />day of May, 1928, by the following vote, to-wit: <br /> <br /> AYES, TRUSTEES: <br /> <br />NOES, TRUSTEES: None <br />ABSENT, TRUSTEES: None <br /> <br />J.L.McBride, W.J.Kelly, Homer C. <br />Stanley E.
