RESOLUTION NO. 1944 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION IN RE PETITION "NORTH END ADDITION" <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Ana has received a <br />written petition asking that said territory therein described be annexed to <br />said City of Santa Ana; and <br /> <br /> V~EREAS, said City Council has examined the person who circulated <br />said petition under ca'th, also the Clerk and Engineer in reference thereto, <br />and having examined into all matters and things relating to the validity of <br />said petition; <br /> <br /> NOW, ~HEREFORE, RESOLVED: That the City Council of the City of <br />Santa Ana hereby finds as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. That said petition has been filed under and in pursuance of an <br />Act of the Legislature approved April ll, 1913, set forth in Chapter 312 of <br />the Statutes of 1913, and amendments thereto. <br /> <br />2. That the territory so proposed to be annexed to said City of <br />Santa Ana is inhabited territory and is contiguous to the City of Santa Ana~ <br /> <br /> 3. That said petition has oeen filed by not less than one-fourth <br />in number of the qualified electors residing within said territory, as shown <br />by the Registration of Voters of the County of Orange, State of California, <br />being the County in which said territory is situated. <br /> <br /> I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and <br />regularly introduced, passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of <br />Santa Aha, at an adjouE~ed regular meeting thereof held on the 16th day of <br />May, 1928, by the following vote, to-wit: <br /> <br /> AYES, TRUSTEES: <br /> <br />NOES, TI~USTEES: None <br />ABSENT, TRUSTEES: None <br /> <br />J.L.McBride, ~.J.Kelly, Homer C.
