California; thence Northerly, Westerly, Southerly, Westerly, Southerly and Westerly along the said Southerly Boundary line of the City of Santa Aha, California, to the point of beginning. · 2. ~at there were two election preci~icts established and provided for the holding of said special election, the boundaries of which were the bOUndaries of said territory. 3. That the whole number of votes cast on said proposition in the territory to be annexed as aforesaid was 930 and thenumber of votes cast therein in favor of annexation was 180, and the number of votes cast Therein against annexation was 770. AND, ~REAS, it appears from the canvass of the returns of said election held in the territory prop~ ed to be annexed to said City of Santa Aha, that the majority of all the votes cast in Said outside territory on the question of said annexation are against annexation. IT IS HEREBY ORDERED, that a0record be made and entered upon the minutes of the City Council showing the total number of votes cast upon said question at said election, the numberthereof cast in favor of annexation, and the number thereof cast against annexation, and the City Council further finds that as a result of said election the proposition of annexing said territory to the City of Santa Aha is defeated.
