RESOLUTION 0RDERIN~ WORK

<br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Aha, on the 7th
<br />day of May, 1928, passed its Resolution of Intention, No. 193~, to order
<br />the hereinafter described work to be done and improvement to be made
<br />in, on and along portions of those open public streets in said Ctty~
<br />commonly known as Shelton Street, Baker Street, First Street end Second
<br />Street, which Resolution of Intention No. 1938 was ~ly and legally
<br />published twice in the Santa Aua Daily Evening Register, a daily news-
<br />paper published and circulated in the City of Santa Ana, all as requi~ed
<br />by law, as appears from the affidavit of W. Lee Millis, principal clerk
<br />of the printers and publishers of said daily~wm~aper, and which
<br />affidavit was filed in the office of the Clerk of the City of Santa
<br />Aha, on the lOth~day of May~ 1928; and
<br />
<br /> ~tEREAS, after the passage and adoption of said Resolution
<br />of Intention No. 1935, the Street Superintendent of the City of Santa
<br />Aha conspicuously posted along the llne of the contemplated work and
<br />improvement, at not more ~hau three h~nd~ed (300) feet in distance
<br />apart, and 37 in all, notices of the passage of said Resolution of
<br />Intention, headed~ NOTICE OF IMPROVEMENT, in the manner, form and sub-
<br />stance as required by law, and the work being chargeable upon a district
<br />also conspicuously posted copies of said notice along all of the open
<br />streets within such district at net more than three hundred (300) feet
<br />in distance apart, as appears from the affidavit of C.L.Jenken, said
<br />Street Superintendent, who personally posted said notices of improve-
<br />ment; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, The Street Superintendent of the City of Santa Aha,
<br />commenced to pest said notices on the 16th day of May, 1928, and fully
<br />completed the posting thereof on the 16th day of May, 1928, more Than
<br />ten (10) days before the date set for hearing protests or objections to
<br />the proposed work and improvement, all as appears from the affidavit
<br />of C.L.Jenken, Street Superintendent of the City of Santa Aha, filed in
<br />the office of the Clerk of said City c~ the 16th day of May, 1928,
<br />and now on file therein; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, the City Council ef the City of Santa Ana was duly
<br />and regularly in session at the Council Chamber thereof at the hour of
<br />7:30 o~clock P.M. on Monday, the 28th day of May, 1928, being the time~
<br />hour and place named in the Resolution of Intention and Notice of
<br />Improvement, when and where any end all persons having any objection
<br />to the proposed work or improvement may appear before the City Council
<br />and show cause why said proposed work should not be carried out in
<br />accordance with said Resolution of Intention No. 1935; ~d

<br /> ~HEREAS, all protests or objections presented having been
<br />disposed of, overruled and denied, in time, manner and form as required
<br />by law, and the City Council of the City of Santa Aha having acquired
<br />
