aESOLUTION OF INTENTION <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA, DECLARING THEIR INTEN~- <br /> I0N TO ORDER THE PAVING AND 0THER~ISE IMPROVING <br /> OF BROADWAY FROM A LINE PARALLEL TO AND 262.36 <br /> FEET NORTH OF THE CENTER LINE OF SANTA CLARA <br /> AVEitDE TO A LINE PARALLEL TO AND 2 FEET SOUTH- <br /> WESTERLY FROM THE sOUTH~ESTERLY LINE OF THE <br /> SOUTHERN PACIFIC RAIL~VAY COMPANY'S RIGHT-OF-WAY <br /> AND AN UNNAMED STREET DESCRIBED AS THE SOUTHERLY <br /> 50 FEET OF LOTS 40 and 60 OF TRACT NO. 425 AND <br /> THE EASTERLY ONE-HALF OF RIVERSIDE DRIVE BET%VEEN <br /> THE WESTERLY EXTENSION OF THE SOUTHERLY LINE OF <br /> LOT 40 OF TRACT NO. 425 AND A LINE DRAWN PARALLEL <br /> THERETO AND DISTANT 50 FEET NORTHERLY THEREFROM; <br /> DECLARING THE SAID %VOPJ{ AND IMPROVEMENT TO BE OF <br /> MORE THAN LOCAL OR OE,DINARM PUBLIC BENEFIT, <br /> DECLARING THE DI~JTRICT TO BE BENEFITED THEREBY, <br /> AND TO BE ASSESSED TO YAY THE COSTS AND EXPENSES <br /> THEREOF; DETERMINING THAT BONDS SHALL BE ISSUED <br /> TO REPRESENT SAID COSTS AND E~PENSES AND FIXING <br /> THE TIME AND PLACE FOR HEARING THE OBJECTIONS TO <br /> SAID WORK OR IMPROVEMENT, OR TO THE EXTENT OF THE <br /> DISTRICT TO BE ASSESSED, OR BOTH: <br /> <br /> The City Council of the City of Santa Aha, pursuant to the <br />provisions of the Improvement ~Act of 1911, and the Improvement Bond <br />Act of 1915, and amendments to said acts, do resolve as follows: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the public interest and convenience requires <br />and it is the intention of the City Council of the City of Santa Arm, <br />California, to order the construction of the following work and <br />improvement in said City, to-wit: <br /> <br /> That the portions of streets in the City of Santa Aha upon <br />which work shall be done and improvements made, as hereinafter set <br />forth, are upon and along those open public streets come. only knovm as <br />Broadway fr~n a line drawn parallel to and distant 262.36 feet <br />Northerly from the center line of Santa Clara Avenue to a line drawn <br />parallel to and distant 2 feet Southwesterly from the Southwesterly <br />line of the Southern Pacifio Railway Company, s Right-of-way and upon <br />an unnamed street ~escribed as the Southerly 80 feet of Lots 40 and 60 <br />of Tract No. 425, as recorded in Miscellaneous Maps, Book 16, Pages <br /> <br />35 and 34, Records of Orange County, California, from the Easterly curb <br />line of Riverside Drive to the Westerly line of Broadway, and upon and <br />along the Easterly half of Riverside Drive between the Westerly <br />extension of the Southerly line of Lot 40 of 'l~act No. 42~, and a line <br />drawn parallel t~ said line and distant 50 feot Northerly therefrom, <br />excepting therefrom any of said work already done to ~he o~'ficial <br />grade, and all as particularly indicated on and in accordance with the <br />plans and specifications hereinafter mentioned. <br /> <br /> That the work to be done and improvements to be made upon <br />and along the hereinbefore described portions of said streets in accord <br />ance with the plans and specifications therefor on file in the Office <br />of the City Clerk shall be as follows: <br /> <br /> That the hereinbefore described portions of streets shall <br />be graded and paved with asphaltic concrete pavement, from curb line <br />to curb line, and where cross streets intersect the g~ading and paving <br />shall extend beyond the curb lines to the extended property lines of <br /> <br /> <br />
