RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO. 1959 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DECLARING THEIR INTENTION TO ORDER THE PAVING OR OTHERV~ISE IMPROVING OF HALLADAY STREET, BE~,%F~EN THE sOUTH LINE 0F FIRST STREET AND THE SOUTH LINE OF MCFADDEN STREET; DECLARING THE SAID WORK AND IMPROVEMENT TO BE OF ~d0RE THAN LOCAL OR ORDINARY FUBLIC BENEFIT; DECLARING THE DISTRICT TO BE BENEFITED TH~REBY AND TO BE ASSESSED TO PAY THE COSTS AND EXPENSES THEREOF; DETERMINING THAT BONDS SHALL BE ISSUED TO REPRESENT SAID COSTS AND EXPENSES AND FIXING THE TIRE AND PLACE FOR HEARING OBJECT- IONS TO SAID WGtH OR IMPROVEMENT, OR TO THE EXTENT OF THE DISTRICT TO BE ASSESSED, OR BOTH. The City Council of the City of Santa Ana, pursuant to the provisio~ of. the improvement Act of' 1911 and the Improvement Bond Act of 191S, and amendments to said acts, do resolve as follows: Section 1. '~at the public interest and convenience requires and it is the intention of the City Council of the City of Santa Ana, California, to order the construction of the following work and improvement in said City, to-wit: That the portion of street in the City of Santa Ana upon which work shall be done and improvements made as hereinafter set forth is upon and along that open public street commonly known as and called Halladay between the South line of First Street and the South line of McE~'dden Street, Street. That the work to be done and improvements to be made upon and along the hereinbefore described portion of Halladay Street, in accordance with the plans and specifications therefor on file in the office of the City Clerk shall be as follows: That the West half of Halladay Street, from the South line of First Street to the Easterly extended South line of Myrtle Street shall be graded and paved with asphaltic concrete pavement from the Nest curb line to the center line of Halladay Street and where cross streets or alleys inter- sect, the grading and paving shall extend beyond the curb line to the extended property lines of said street; the East half of Halladay Street, from the South line of First Street to the Westerly extended South line of Apricot Street shall be graded and paved from the East curb line to the center line of Halladay Street, and where cross streets or alleys intersect the grading and paving shall extend beyond the curb line to the extended property line of said street; the West half of Halladay Street from the Easterly extended South line of Myrtle Street to the South line of McFadden Street shall be graded and paved with asph~ltic concrete pavement from the West curb line to the center line of Halladay Street, and where cross-streets intersect, the grading and paving shall extend beyond the curb line to ~he extended property lines of said street; the West Nine (9) feet of the East half of Halladay Street from the Westerly extended South line of Apricot Street to the North line of McFadden Street shall be graded and paved with asphaltic concrete pavement, as particularly indicated on and in accordance with the plans and specifications hereinafter mentioned; the East half of Halladay Street from the North line of EcFadden Street to the South line
