DESCRIPTION OF ASSESSMENT DISTRICT Section 5. 'l~at the contemplated work and improvement here- inbefore mentioned is in the opinion of the city Council of more than local or ord~na~ public benefit, and the expense of said work and improvement is made chargeable upon the district hereinafter described, and said City Council does hereby declare s~id district to be the district bmnefited by said work and improvement and to be assessed to pay the costs and expenses thereof, which district is bounded and descriOed as follows, to-wit: Located in the City of Santa Aha, County of Orange, State of oalifornia, and described as follows: Beginning at a point in the Southerly line of ~'irst Street distant 1V8 feet ~esterly fr~n the Westerly line of Halladay Street; thence Southerly along a line drawn parallel to and distant 17~ feet Westerly from the Westerly line of Halladay Street to an intersec=ion with the-Northerly line of Bishop Street; thence Southeasterly in a direct line to a point in the Southerly line of Bishop Street distant lO~ feet Westerly from the Westerly line of Halladay Str~et; thence Southerly along a line drawn parallel to and distant lO~ feet Westerly from the Westerly line of Halladay Street and along the South- erly extension of said line to a paint distant 150 feet South- erly from the Southerly line of McFadden Street; ~hence East- erly along a line drawn parallel to and distant 150 feet South- erly from the Southerly line of McFadden Street a distance of 8~V.O feet to a point; thence Northerly in a direct line to a point in the Southerly line of Walnut Street distant 1VS feet Easterly from the Easterly line of Halladay Street; thence Northwesterly in a direct line to a point in the Northerly line of Walnut Street distant 150 feet Easterly from the East- erly line of Halladay Street; thence Northerly along a line drawn parallel to and distant l§O feet Easterly from the East- erly line of Halladay Street to an intersection with ~he South- erly line of First Street; thence ~esterly along the Southerly line of First Street to the point of beginning. ~IME AND PLACE OF HEARING Section 8. Notice is hereby given that on the 2§th day of ~une, 1~28, at ~:ZO oVclock P.M. in ~he Council Chamber of the City Hall of said City of Santa Ana any and all persc~s having any object- ions to the proposed work or improvement may appear before the s aid City Council and show cause why said proposed improvement should not be carried out in accordance with this Resolution. That all persons desiring to so appear should file with the City Clerk of the City of Santa Ana before the hour herein set a written protest against the said wo~k or the assessment district pro- posed to be assessed, or both. PUBLICATION OF RESOLUTION OF INTENTION Section V. The Santa Ana Daily Evening Register, a daily newspaper pilblished an~circulated and of general circulation in the City of Santa Ana is hereby designated as the newspaper in which this Resolution of Intention shall be published and the City Clerk of said City is hereby directed to cause this Resolution of Intention to be published by two insertions in said newspaper, in the manner and form requiredby law. The City Council does not deem it advisable that the Clerk mail copies of the notice of improvement to owners or reputed o~,mers, and he is not required to mail the same.
