RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO. 1960 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL 0F THE CITY OF SANTA ANA, DECLARING THEIR INTENTION TO ORDER THE PAVING OR 0THAq~WISE I~IPROVING 0~' FHENCH STREET FROM EDGEWb0D ROAD TO THE sOUTH LINE OF TRACT NO. 390, TI~E ;';EST ONE-HALF OF VALENCIA STREET FROM EDGEW00D ROAD TO THE SOUTH LINE OF TRACT NO. 390; THE EAST ONE-HALF OF VALENCIA STREET FR0t~ EDGEVI00D ROAD TO THE SOUTH LINE OF TRACT NO. 359; POINSETTIA STREET FROM EDGEW00D ROAD TO THE SOUTH LiNE OF TRACT NO. 389; DECLARING THE SAID V~0RK AND I}~iPROVEMENT TO BE OF II~EE THAN LOCAL OR ORDINARY PUBLIC BENEFIT, DECL;~RING THE DISTRICT TO BE BENEFITED THEREBY AND TO BE ASSESSED TO PAY THE COSTS AND EXPENSES THEREOF; DETEFdIINING THAT BONDS sH~TLL BE ISSUED TO REPRESENT SAID C& TS AND EXPENSES AND FIXING THE TILDE ~ND PLACE FOR HEARING OBJECTIONS TO SAID WORK OR IMPROVEI~I~T, OR ~0 THE EXTENT 0F THE DISTRICT TO BE ASSESSED, OR B 0TH: The City Council of the City of Santa Aha, pursuant to the provisions of the Improvement Act of 1911, and the Improvement Bond Act of 1915, and amendments to said acts, do resolve as follows: Section 1. That the public interest and convenience require: and it is the intention of the City Council of the City of Santa Ana~ California, to order the construction of the following work and improve. merit in said City, to-wit: That the portions of streets in the City of Santa Aha, upon which work shall be done and improvements made, as hereinafter set forth, are upon and along those open phblic streets con~nonly kno~m as French Street from the South line of Edgewood Road to the South line of Tract No. 390; the west half of Valencia Street frc~ the South line of Edgewood Road to the South line of Tract No. 390; the East half o£ Valencia Stmeet from the South line of Edgewood Road to the South line of Tract No. 359; Poinsettia Street from the South line of Edgewood Road to the South line of Tract No. 5~9. That the work to be done and improvements to be made upon and along the hereinbefore described portions of said streets, in accordance with the plans and specifications therefor on file in the office of the City Clerk shall be as follows: That the hereinbefore described portions of streets shall be graded and paved with Asphaltic concrete pavement, from curb line to curb line, all as particularly indicated on and in accordance with the plans and specifications hereinafter mentioned. That all driveways upon the hereinbefore described portions of streets shall be graded and paved with asphaltic concrete pavement for their entire width, and from the street side of the curb to the street side of the sidewalk~ all as particularly indicated on and in accordance with the plans and specifications hereinafter mentioned~ The excavation for and construction of Portland cement concrete curbs upon and along the hereinbefore streets, where curbs do not now exist or where made, all as particularly indicated on and in described portions of replacements are to be accordance with the plans and specifications hereinafter mentioned.
