RESOLUTION OF AWARD NO. 1961 VCHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Ana did, in open session, at an adjourned regular meeting thereof, on the llth day of June, 19~8, publicly open, examine and declare all sealed proposals or bids for doing the following work, under Resolution of Intention No. 1938, in the City of Santa Ana, to-wit: That the portions of streets in the City of Santa Aha, upon which work shall be done and improvements made as hereinafter set forth are upon and along those open public streets commonly known as and called Shelton Street, from the North line of First Street to the South line of Fourth Street; Baker Street, from the center line of First Street to the South line of Fourth Street; the North one-half of First Street from the west line of ~aker Street to a line drawn parallel to and distant 103.8 feet West of the west line of ~aker Street; the North one-half of Second Street from the west line of Baker Street to.a line drawn parallel to and distant 8~ feet west of the west line of Baker Street; excepting therefrom any of said work already done to the official grade and all as particularly indicated on and in accordance with the plans and specific~tions hereinafter mentioned. That the work to be done and improvements to be made upon and along the hereinbefore described portions of said streets, in accor~ ance with the plans and specifications therefor on file in the office of the City Clerk, shall be as follows: That the hereinbefore described portion of Shelton Street be graded and paved with Portland cement concrete pavement, from curb line to curb line and where alleys intersect the paving shall extend beyond the curb lines to the extended property lines of said street, all as particularly indicated on and in accordance with the plans and spec- ifications hereinafter mentioned. That all driveways upon the hereinbefore described portion of Shelton Street be graded and paved with Portland cenmnt concrete pavement, as indicated on the plans and specifications, from the curb line to the street side of the sidewalk, unless otherwise indicated on the plans. The excavation for and construction of Portland cement Con- crete curbs upon and along all of the hereinbefore described portions o~ Streets, where curbs do not now exist, or where replacements are to be made, all as particularly indicated on and in accordance with the plans and specifications hereinafter mentioned.
