RESOLUTION ORDERING WORK
<br /> NO. 1965.

<br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Arm,
<br /> on the 4th day of June, 1928, passed its Resolution of Intention
<br /> No. 1958, to order the hereinafter described work to be done and
<br /> improvement to be made in, on and along portions of those open
<br /> public streets in said City, comonly known as Broadway and
<br /> Riverside Drive, and upon an unnamed street described as the
<br /> Southerly 50 feet of Lots 40 and 60 of Tract No. 425, as recorded
<br /> in Miscellaneous Maps, Book 16, Pages 33 and 34, Records of
<br /> Orange County, Cslifornia, frc~ the Easterly curb line of
<br /> Riverside Drive to the Westerly line of Broadway, w~hich Resolution
<br /> of Intention No. 1958 was duly and legally published twice in
<br /> the Santa Ana Daily Evening Register, a daily newspaper published
<br /> and circulated in the City of Santa Arm, all as required by law,
<br /> as appears frcm the affidavit of W. Lee Millis, principal clerk
<br /> of the printers and publishers of said daily newspaper, and
<br /> which affidavit was filed in the Office of the Clerk of the City
<br /> of Santa Aha, on the 7th day of June, 1928; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, after the passage and adoption of said
<br /> Resolution of Intention No. 1955, the Street Superintendent c~
<br /> the City of Santa Aha cc~spicuously post~i along the line of the
<br /> contemplated work and improvement, at nor more than three hundred
<br /> (300) feet in distance apart, and 16 in all, notices of the
<br /> passage of said Resolution of Intention, headed, NOTICE OF
<br /> IMPROVEMENT, in the manner, form and substance as required by law,
<br /> and the work being chargeable upon a district, also conspicuously
<br /> posted copies of said notice along all of the open streets within
<br /> such district at no~ more than three hundred (300) feet in distance
<br /> apart, as appears from the affidavit of C. L. Jenken, said Street
<br /> Superintendent, who personally posted said notices of improvement;
<br /> and
<br />
<br /> W~EREAS, the Street Superintendent of the City of
<br />Santa Ana, c~.~enced to post said notices on the 14th day of
<br />June, 1928, and fully completed the posting thereof on the 14th
<br />day of June, 1928, more than ten (10) days before the date set for
<br />hearing protests or objections to the proposed work and improvement
<br />all as sppears from the affidavit of C. L. Jenken, Street
<br />Superintendent of the City of Sauta Ana, filed in t~he Office of
<br />the Clark of said City on the 14th day of June, 1928, and now on
<br />file th eretn; and

<br /> ~F~F~AS, t~he City Council of the City of Santa Ana
<br />was duly and regularly in session at the Council Chamber thereof
<br />at the hour of 7:30 o'clock P.M. on Monday, the 28th day of June,
<br />1928, being the time, hour and place named in the Resolution of
<br />Intention and Notice of Improvement, when and where any and all
<br />persons having any objection to the proposed work or improvement
<br />may appear before the City Council and show cause why said
<br />
