That the portions of streets in the City of Santa Aha <br /> upon which work mhall be done and improvements made, as hereinafter <br /> set forth are upon and along those open public streets commonly known <br /> as and called Ross Street, between the center line of Washington <br /> Avenue, and the Southerly line of Seventeenth Street; and the South <br /> half of Sixteenth ~treet, between the East line of Ross Street and <br /> the center line of Z~rant Street. <br /> <br /> That the work to be done and improvements to be made <br /> upon and along the hereinbefore described portions of said streets, <br /> in accordance with the plans and epe¢ifications therefor on file in <br /> the ~ffice of the City Clerk s~all be as follows: <br /> <br /> That the hereinbefore described portions of streets <br /> shall be graded and paved with Portland Cement Concrete Pavement from <br /> curb line to curb line and where cross streets or alleys intersect <br /> the grading and paving shall extend beyond the curb lines to the <br /> extended property lines of said streets, and at driveway locations <br /> the grading and paving shall extend back of the curb lines to the <br /> street side of the sidewalk, excepting therefrom the grading and <br /> paving of the East half of ~oss Street between the center line of <br /> Sixteenth Street and the Southerly line of Seventeenth Street, all <br /> as particularly indicated on and in accordance with th~ plans and <br /> specifications hereinafter mentioned. <br /> <br /> The excavation for and the construction of Portland <br />Cement Concrete sidewalks upon and along the East side of the here- <br />inbefore described portion of Ross Street and upon and along the <br />South side of the hereinbefore described portion of Sixteenth Street, <br />where sidewalks do not now exist or ~here replacements are to be <br />made, all as particularly indicated on and in accordance with the <br />plans and specifications hereinafter mentioned. <br /> <br /> The excavation f~ and construction of Portland Cement <br />Concrete curbs upon and along the hereinbefore described portions of <br />streets, where curbs do not now exist or where replacements are to <br />be made, all as particularly indicated on and in accordance with the <br />plans and specifications hereinafter mentioned. <br /> <br /> The excavation for s~d construction of Salt Glamed <br />Vitrified Clay Pipe house connecting sewers dpon the hereinbefore <br />described streets, constr~cte~ at much depths and locations, all as <br />particularly indicated on and in accordance with the plans and speci- <br />flcations hereinafter mentioned. <br /> <br /> The excavation for and construction of Portland Cement <br />Concrete manholes, complete with cast iron frames and covers upon <br />the hereinbefore described streets, constructed at locations and <br />grades, allas Particularly indicated on and in accordance with the <br />plans and specifications hereinafter mentioned. <br /> <br /> The excavation for and construction of genuine Byers <br />wrought iron pipe house service connections, including all connec- <br />tions, corporation cocks, curb cooks, ftttir~s and all necessary <br />appurtenances thereto upon the hereinbefore described streets, <br /> <br /> <br />
