That the portions of streets in the City of Santa Aha upon which work mhall be done and improvements made, as hereinafter set forth are upon and along those open public streets commonly known as and called Ross Street, between the center line of Washington Avenue, and the Southerly line of Seventeenth Street; and the South half of Sixteenth ~treet, between the East line of Ross Street and the center line of Z~rant Street. That the work to be done and improvements to be made upon and along the hereinbefore described portions of said streets, in accordance with the plans and epe¢ifications therefor on file in the ~ffice of the City Clerk s~all be as follows: That the hereinbefore described portions of streets shall be graded and paved with Portland Cement Concrete Pavement from curb line to curb line and where cross streets or alleys intersect the grading and paving shall extend beyond the curb lines to the extended property lines of said streets, and at driveway locations the grading and paving shall extend back of the curb lines to the street side of the sidewalk, excepting therefrom the grading and paving of the East half of ~oss Street between the center line of Sixteenth Street and the Southerly line of Seventeenth Street, all as particularly indicated on and in accordance with th~ plans and specifications hereinafter mentioned. The excavation for and the construction of Portland Cement Concrete sidewalks upon and along the East side of the here- inbefore described portion of Ross Street and upon and along the South side of the hereinbefore described portion of Sixteenth Street, where sidewalks do not now exist or ~here replacements are to be made, all as particularly indicated on and in accordance with the plans and specifications hereinafter mentioned. The excavation f~ and construction of Portland Cement Concrete curbs upon and along the hereinbefore described portions of streets, where curbs do not now exist or where replacements are to be made, all as particularly indicated on and in accordance with the plans and specifications hereinafter mentioned. The excavation for s~d construction of Salt Glamed Vitrified Clay Pipe house connecting sewers dpon the hereinbefore described streets, constr~cte~ at much depths and locations, all as particularly indicated on and in accordance with the plans and speci- flcations hereinafter mentioned. The excavation for and construction of Portland Cement Concrete manholes, complete with cast iron frames and covers upon the hereinbefore described streets, constructed at locations and grades, allas Particularly indicated on and in accordance with the plans and specifications hereinafter mentioned. The excavation for and construction of genuine Byers wrought iron pipe house service connections, including all connec- tions, corporation cocks, curb cooks, ftttir~s and all necessary appurtenances thereto upon the hereinbefore described streets,
