of Seventy-seven Thousand Four Hundred Twenty-~ix and 19/lO0 Dollar~ <br /> ($77,426.19) upon th~ assessments shown upon said list. <br /> <br /> Reference is hereby made to Resolution of Intention No. <br />1834 of the City Council of the City of Santa Ana, passed on the <br />24th day of October, 1927, for a complete description of the <br />herein mentioned, and to the list of unpaid assessments filed as <br />above stated for the assessments unpaid; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, interested persons were notified in the manner <br />required ~y law to appear before the City Council in t~he Council <br />Chamber of the City Hall of said City at the hour of 7:30 otclock <br />P.M. on Monday, the 9th day of July, 19~8, and show cause why bonds <br />should not be issued upon the security of the unpaid assessments <br />shown on the Street Superintendent's list; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, notice was duly given in the manner and form <br />required by law, that serial bor~s to represent unpaid assessments <br />bearing interest at the rate of six per ce~t per annum will be issued <br />hereunder in the manner provideA in the "Improvement Bond Act of 1~15' <br />the last installment of ~hich bonds shall mature nine years from the <br />2nd day of July, next succeeding ten (10) months from their date, and <br />all interested persons having appeared before this City Council and <br />having been given a full opportunity to show cause why bonds should <br />not be issued upon the security of the unpaid assessments shown on <br />said list, and all objections presented having been heard and <br />considered. <br /> <br /> IT IS THEREFORE NOW BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> <br />OF SANTA ANA DETERMINED, RESOLVED AND 0RDER~D AS FOLLOWS: That no <br />cause has been shown why bouds should not be issued upon the securtt <br />of said unpaid assessments, and does hereby overrule all objections <br />thereto, and does hereby direct the issuance of said bonds;and further., <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVE) AS FOLLOWS: That bonds shall be issued <br />upon the security of said unpaid assessments to said mnount of Sever~ <br />seven Thousand Four Hundred Tw~n~-~ix and 19/100 Dollars <br />$77,A26.19) · <br /> <br /> That said bonds shall be eighty (80) in number and shal~ <br />be dated July 9, 1928, and bear interest at the rate c~ six per cent <br />per anr~Ym, ar~ the denomination of said bonds, and the date of <br />respective maturity thereof shall be as follows: <br /> <br />SERIES BOND NO.
