RESOLUTION OVERRULING ~ROTE~T~ OR OBJECTIONS TO ASSESSMENT, AP?ROVING ASSESSMENT AND ORDERING TttE STREET SUPERINTENDENT TO ATTACH WARRANT AND RECOF~D. ~0. 1995 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa AAa did on the 19th day of December, 1997, pass Resolution of Intention No. 1858 for the improve- ment of Franklin Street, from the North line of Myrtle Street to the South line of First Street; and, whereas, on the 14th day of Nay, 1928, the Superintendent of Streets of said City filed an assessment to cover the sum due for the work performed and specified in the contract made under proceed- ings for the said improvement, which assessment diagram was approved by the City Council of said City on the 14th day of Nay, 1928. AND, ~i$LEREAS, the Clerk of the City of Santa Ana has given notice aa required by law, in which, notice August 13th, 1928, at the hour of 7:30 o'clocl P.N. was fixed as the time, and the Council Chamber of the City Hall of said City as the place where any and all persons interested in the said work might be heard; and WHEREAS, there was not a quortun of the City Council present at said meeting, and the said meeting having been regularly adjourned as required by law to August 20, 1928, at the hour of 7:30 o'clock P.N. at the Council Chamber of the City Hall of said City; and WHEREAS, no person aggrieved has filed with the City Council a written objection to said assessment as required by law; and WHEREAS, at the time set for hearing protests or objections, there not being a quortun of the City Council present, and said hearing having been regularly adjourned to August 20, 1928, at the hour of 7:30 o'clock P.M., at which time the City Council of said City proceeded to hear protesta or object- ions to the same, and all of said protests or objections to said assessment and the work done having been heard, it is hereby, RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Santa Ara that all of the said protests or objections against said assessment or the work done under said proceedings be, and the same are hereby overruled and denied and the assessment be affirmed, and that the Street Superintendent be, and he is hereby directed to attach to said assessment a warrant in the form and manner required by law, and shall record the same in the office of said Superintend- ent of Streets. I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularl~ passed by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana at a regular meeting thereof held on the 20th day of August, 1928, by the following vote: AYES, NOES, ABSENT, TRUSTEES: J.L.McBride, N.J.Kelly, Homer C.Chaney, F.L.
