RESOLUTION OF A~ARD NO. 1999 Vg~IEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Aha did, in open session, at a regular meeting thereof, on the 20th day of August, 1928, publicly open, examine and declare all sealed proposals or bids for doing the following work, under Resolution of Intention No. 1981, in the City of Santa Ana, to-wit: That the portions of streets in the City of Santa Aha upon which work shall be done and improvements made as hereinafter set forth is upon and along that open public street, commonly known as and called Western Avenue between ~he north line of First Street and the south line of Eighth Street. That the work to be done and improvements to be made upon and along the hereinbefore described portion of said street in accordance with the plans and specifications on fi~e in the office of the City Cle~ shall be as follows: That the hereinbefore described portion of Western Avenue graded and paved with asphaltic concrete pavement, from curb shall be line to curb line and where cross streets ~r ~lleys interest the gradin~ and paving shall extend beyond the'curb lines to the extended property lines of said street and at driveway locations the grading and paving shall extend back of th~ curb lines to the street side of the sidewalk, all as particularly indicated on and in accordance with the plans and specifications hereinafter mentioned. The excavation for and construction of Portland cement concret curbz upon and along the hereinbefore described portion of said street where curbs do not now exist 'or where replacements are to be made, all as l~rticularly indicated on and in accordance with the plans and specifications hereinafter mentioned. The excavation for and construction of Portland cement concret sidewalks upon and along the hereinbefore described portion of said street where ~idewalks do not now exist or where replacements are to be made, all as particularly indicated on and in accordance with the plans and specifications hereinafter mentioned. ~he excavation for and construction of genuine Byers wrought iron pipe house service connections, including all connections, corp- oration cocks, fittings and all necessary appurtenances thereto, upon the hereinbefore described portion of said street to be ins t~lled from the existing water main at right angles thereto, and extending to a point one foot back of the curb, laid at su~x locatioms and grades as are indicated on the plans and specifications hereinafter mentioned.
