official grade. <br /> <br /> The work to be done as herein set forth shall include the furnishin <br /> of all labor, equipment and m~terials necessary for or appurtenant to the con- <br /> struction and completion of all work herein specified. <br /> <br /> RESOLVED: That the said City Council hereby reject all of said <br /> proposals or bids except the next herein mentioned, and hereby awards the <br /> contract for ~oing said work and improvement to the lowest responsible bidder, <br /> to-v~it: Steele Finley, at the prices named in his bid as follows, to-w~t: <br /> <br /> Item No. 1. The grading to a subgrade and the placing thereon of <br />an asphaltic concrete pavement having a total thickness of five (5) inches, <br />complete with the furnishing of all neeessar~equipment, labor and material <br />for the sum of Seventeen and one-quarter cents ($0.1V25) per square foot. <br /> <br /> Item No. 2. The excavation for and the construction of Portland <br /> cement concrete curbs, complete with the furnishing of all necessary equipment <br /> labor and material for the sum of Sixty cents ($0.60) per square foot. <br /> <br /> Item No. 3. The excavation for and the construction of Portland <br />cement concrete sidewalks having a total thickness of three and one-half <br />(3-1/2) inches, complete with the furnishing of all necessary equipment, labor <br />and material for the sum of Seventeen cents (SO. iV) per square foot. <br /> <br /> Item No. 4. The excavation for and the construction of Portland <br />cement concrete sidewalks having a total thickness of five (6) inches, <br />complete with the furnishing of all necessary equipment, labor and material <br />for the sum of Twenty-three cents ($0.23) per linear foot. <br /> <br /> Item No. 6. The trenching, furnishing and laying of three-quarter <br />(3.4) inch diameter Byers Wrought Iron Pipe water services, together with all <br />fittings, cocks and necessary appurtenances thereto, complete with the furn- <br />ishing of all necessary equipment, labor and material, for the sum of Seventy- <br />five =amts ($O.V~) per linear foot. <br /> <br /> The Clerk of the City of Santa Aha is hereby directed to post a <br />notice of this award conspicuously for five (6) days on or near the door of th, <br />Council Chamber of the City Council of the City of Santa Aha, and also publish <br />said notice twice in the Santa Aha Daily Evening Register, a daily newspaper <br />published and circulated i~ the City of. Santa Aha, and hereby designated for <br />that purpose by said City Council. <br /> <br /> I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution is a fuil, true and <br />correct copy of the Resolution of Award No. 199~ duly introduced and regularly <br />passed by the City Council of the City of Santa Aha at an adjourned regular <br /> <br />meeting thereof held ~ the 2Vth day of August, 1928, by the following vote: <br /> AYES, TRUST~.~: J.L.McBride, Homer C.Chaney, F.L.
