¸6O RESOLUTION O~ AWARD NO. 2000 WHEREAS~ the City council of the City of Santa Aua did, in open session, at a regular meeting thereof, on the 20th day of Au~st~ 1928, publicly open, examine and declare all sealed proposals or bids for doing the following work, under Resolution of Intention No. 1980~ in the City of Santa Aha, to-wit: That the portion of the street in the City of Santa Aha upon which work shall be done and improvements made as hereinafter set forth is upon and along that open public street, commonly known as and called Baker Street, between the north line of First Street and the south line of Fourth Street. That the work to be done and improvements to be made upon and along the hereinbefore described portion of said street, in accordance with the plans and specifications therefor on file in the office of the City Clerk shall be as follows: That the hereinbefore described portion of said street shall be graded and paved with asphaltic concrete l~vement, from curb line to curb line, and at driveway locations, the grading and paving shall exte~ back of the curb line to the street side of the sidewalk, all as part- icularly indicated on and in accordance with the plans and specificatio~ hereina~'cer mentioned. Together with such other work or improvements as are noted on the plans or speciffica$ions which shall be considered as incidental to the above described work and improvements, and no additional compensati~ shall be allowed therefor. Excepting from all of the above described work and improvement any of said work already done to the official grade. The work to be done as herein set forth shall include the furnishing of all labor, equipment and materials necessary for or appurtenant to the construction and completion of all work herein specified. RESOLVED: That the said proposals or bids except said City Council hereby reject all of the next herein mentioned, and hereby awards the contract for doing said work and improvement to the lowest responsible bidder, to-wit: Steele Finley at the prices named in his bid as follows, to-wit: Item No. 1. The grading to a subgrade and the placing of an asphaltic concrete pavement having a total thickness of five (5) inches complete with the furnishing of all necessary equipment, labor and material, for the sum of Seventeen and one-quarter ~ts ($0.1V25) per square foot. The Clerk of the City of Santa Ana is hereby directed to post a notice of this award conspicuously for five (5) days on or near the door of the Council Charmber of the City Co~mctl of the City of Sant Aha, and also publish said notice twice in the Santa Aha Daily Evening
