RESOLUTION ORDERING V~0RK

<br /> ~FHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Ana, on the 6th day
<br />of August, 1928, passed its Resolution of Intention No. 1991, to order the
<br />hereinafter described work to be done and improvement to be made in, on and
<br />along portions of those open public streets in said City, co~nonly known as
<br />Ross Street and Sixteenth Street, which Resolution of Intention No. 1991, was
<br />duly and legally published twice in the Santa &ua Daily Evening Register, a
<br />daily newspaper published and circulated in the City of Santa Ara, all as
<br />required by law, as appears from the affidavit of W. Lee Millis, principal
<br />clerk of the printers and publishers of said daily newspa~r, and which
<br />affidavit was flied in the office of the Clerk of the City of Santa Ana, on
<br />the llth day of August, 1928; and
<br />
<br /> ~J/HEMEAS, after the passage and adoption of Said Resolution of
<br />Intention No. 1991, the Street Superintendent of the City of Santa Ara con-
<br />spicuously posted along the line of the contemplated wo~ and improvement, at
<br />not more than three hundred (300) feet in distance apart, and 23 in all,
<br />notices of the passage of said Resolution of Intention, headed, NOTICE OF
<br />I~PR~/E~]NT, in the manner, forth and substance as required by law, and the
<br />work being chargeable upon a district, also Conspicuously posted copies of
<br />said notice along all of the open streets within such district at not more
<br />than three hundred ~300) feet in distance apart, as appears from the affidavit
<br />of C. L. Jenken, said Street Superintendent, who personally posted said
<br />notices of improvement; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, the Street Superintendent of the City of Santa Ana,
<br />commenced to post said notices on the 23rd day of August, 1928, and fully
<br />completed the posting thereof on the 23rd day of August, 1928, more than ten
<br />(10) days before the date set for hearing protests or objections to the pro-
<br />posed work and improvement, all as appears from the affidavit of C.L.Jenken,
<br />Street S~perintendent of the City of Santa Ara, filed in the office of the
<br />Clerk of said City on the 24th day of August, 1928, and now on file therein;
<br />and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Ara was duly and
<br />regularly in session at the Council Chamber thereof at the hour of 7:30
<br />o~clock P.~i. on Tuesday, the 4th day of September, 1928, being the time, hour
<br />and place named in the Resolution of Intention and Notice of Improvement, when
<br />and where any and all persons having any objection to the proposed work or
<br />improvement may appear before the City Council and show cause why said pro-
<br />posed work should not be carried out in accordance with said Resolution of
<br />Intention No. 1991; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, all protests or objections presented having been disposed
<br />
<br />of,
<br />
<br />the
<br />
<br />order
<br />
<br />overruled and denied, in time, manner and fore as required by law, and
<br />City Council of the City of Santa Ana having acquired Jurisdiction to
<br />
<br /> the proposed work done and improvement made;
<br />
<br /> IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Santa Ara
