RESOLUTION ORDERING WORK

<br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Aha, on the 6th day
<br /> of Au~st, 1928, passed its Resolution of Intention No. 1990, to order the
<br /> hereinafter described work to be done and improvement to be made in, on and
<br /> along a portion of that open public street in said City, come, only known as
<br /> Palm Avenue, which Resolution of Intention No. 1990 was duly and legally
<br /> pubXished twice in the Santa Aha Daily Evening Register, a daily newspaper
<br /> published and circulated in the City of Santa Aha, all as required by law, as
<br /> apl~ ars from the affidavit of W. Lee Millis, principal clerk of the printers
<br /> and publishers of said daily newspaper, and which affidavit was filed in the
<br /> office of the Clerk of the City of Santa Aha, on the llth day of August,
<br /> 1928; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, after the passage and adoption of said Resolution of Intenl
<br />ion No. 1990, the Street Superintendent of the City of Santa Aha conspicuousl
<br />posted along the line of the contemplated work and improvement, at not more
<br />than three hundred (500) feet in distance apart, and 21 in all, notices of
<br />the passage of said Resolution of Intention, headed, NOTICE OF IMPRG/EMENT,
<br />in the manner, form and substance as required by law, and the work being
<br />chargeable upon a district, also conspicuously posted copies of said notice
<br />along all of the open streets within such district at not more than three
<br />hundred (300) feet in distance apart, as appears from the affidavit of C.L.
<br />Jenken, said Street Superintendent, who personally posted said notices of
<br />improvement; and
<br />
<br /> ~'~EREAS, the Street Superintendent of the City of Santa Aha, com-
<br />menced to post said notices on the 25rd day of August, 1928, and fully com-
<br />pleted the posting thereof on the 25rd day of August, 1928, more than ten (10
<br />days before the date set for hearing protests or objections to the proposed
<br />work and improvement, all as appears from the affidavit of C.L.Jenken, Street
<br />Superintendent of the City of Santa Aha, filed in the office of the Clerk of
<br />said City on the B4th ~ay of August, 1928, and now on file therein; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Ana was duly and
<br />regularly in session at the Council Chamber thereof at the hour of 7:30 o'clo
<br />P.M. on Tuesday, the 4th day of September, 1928, being the time, hour and
<br />place named in the Resolution of Intention and Notice of Improvement, when
<br />and where any and all persons having any objection to the proposed work or
<br />improvement may appear before the City Council and show cause why said pro-
<br />posed work should not be carried out in accordance with said Resolution of
<br />Intention No. 1990; and
<br />
<br /> WHEHEAS, all protests or objections presented having been disposed
<br />of, overruled and denl.ed, in time, manner and form as required by law, and
<br />the City Council of the City of Santa Aha having acquired Jurisdiction to
<br />order the proposed work done and improvement made;
<br />
<br /> IT IS HEREBY RESOLIrED, by the City Council of the City of Santa Aha
<br />that the public interest and convenience requires the work done and impr~ eme
<br />
