<br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA,
<br /> DECLARING THEIR INTENTION TO ORDER THE CLOSING UP AND
<br /> ABANDON~ENT OF A PORTION OF PROPERTY AT THE CORNER 0I~
<br /> WASHINGTON AVENUE AND POINSETTIA STREET DEDICATED FOR STREET
<br /> PURPOSES IN THE CITY OF SANTA ANA; DECLARING IT TO BE FOR
<br /> TEE FuBLIC INTEREST AND CONVENIENCE; AND FI~ING THE TIME AND
<br /> PLACE FOR HEARING OBJECTIONS TO SAID PROPOSED IMPROVEMENT.
<br />
<br /> The City Council of the City of Santa Ana, pursuant to the
<br />provisions of an Act of the Legislature of the State of California,
<br />known as "Street Opening Act cf 1889", approved March S, 1889, and amend
<br />ments thereto, do resolve and declare as follows:
<br />
<br /> Section 1. That the public interest and convenience requires
<br />the closing up and abandonment of that portion of that certain real
<br />property situated at the co~ner of Washington Avenue and Poinsettia
<br />Street, and dedicated for street purposes, as hereinafter described, in
<br />the City of Santa Aha, and it is the intention of the City Council of th
<br />City of Santa Ana to or,er the following portion of 'said ~eal property
<br />in said City to be closed up and abandoned, 1~t:
<br />
<br /> Beginning at the ~%~heasterly corner of Block 69,
<br /> Santa Aha East, Miscellaneous Records, Bo.ok 10, Pages 45 and 44,
<br /> Records of Los Angeles County, California, thence ~outhwesterly
<br /> along the Northerly line of said Block 69, a distance of 90.48.
<br /> feet to a point in the NortheaSterly llne of Poinsettia Street,
<br /> thence Northwesterly along the Northeasterly line of said
<br /> Poinsettia Street a distance of 2V.60 feet to a point; thence in
<br /> a Northeasterly direction along a curve to the right whose interior
<br /> angle is 10~ degrees, 14 minutes, 10 seconds and a radius of
<br /> feet, a distance of §4.08 feet to a point; thence Easterly along
<br /> a line drawr~ parallel to and distant 10 feet Southerly from the
<br /> Southerly line of Washington Avenue a distance cf 46.49 feet to
<br /> a point; thence Southeasterly on an angle to the right of
<br /> degrees, 45 minutes, 50 seconds, a distance of ~-6.54 feet to the
<br /> point of beginning~

<br />all of which is more clearly shown on a certain map api~-~ved and
<br />adopted by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana for said abandonmen!
<br />by Resolution No. 2015 on the 1st day of October, 1928.
<br />
<br /> Section 2. That the said City Council of the said City of
<br />Santa Aha does further declare that the lot, land or premises affected
<br />by the closing up and abandonment of the hereinbefore described real
<br />property and benefited by said improvement is the parcel of real properS'.
<br />
<br />described as follows, to-wit:
<br /> Block 69 of Santa Aha East, asRPer map recorded in Book
<br /> 10, Pages 45 and 44 cf Miscellaneous ecords c~ Los Angeles,
<br /> California.
<br />
<br /> Section 5. That the proceedings for the closing up of the
<br />aforesaid parcel of real property, dedicated for street purposes as afore
<br />said, situated on the southeast corner of Washington Avenue and Poinsett
<br />Street shall be had and taken under and in accordance with an Act of the
<br />Legislature of the State of California, designated and known as "An Act
<br />to provide for laying out, opening, extending, widening, straightening
<br />or closing up, in whole or in part, of any street, square, lane, alley,
<br />court or place within municipalities, to condemn and acquire any and all
<br />larml and property necessary or convenient for that purpose", approved
<br />March 6, 1889, and amendments thereto.

<br /> , Section 4. The Street Superintendent shall cause to be con-

<br /> spicuously posted along the line of said contemplated work and improve-
<br />
