IN THE MA~TER OF THE ACQUISITION AND IMPROVEMENT <br /> DISTRICT NO. III, OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2019 <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING SPECIFICATIONS FOR <br />THE ACQUISITION AND WIDENING OF A PORTION OF EAST <br />FIRST STREET IN THE CITY OF SANTA ANA. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Clyde L. Jenken, City Engineer, was on the 1st day <br />of October, 1928, directed to prepare specifications for the proposed <br />acquisition and widening of East First Street, between Main Street and <br />the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railroad tracks, under proceedings <br />to be had under the designation of "A~quisition and Improvement District <br />No. III, cf the City of Santa Ana"; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the said Clyde L. Jenken, thereafter on the said 1st <br />day of October, 1928, presented said specifications to this City <br />Council, and this City Council has examined the same and deems that the <br />public interest and necessity require the acquisition and widening <br />therein provided for, in the manner therein set forth. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved, that said specifications be <br />and they are hereby approved by this City Council, and it is hereby <br />ordered that said specifications be filed with the Clerk of this City <br />Council. <br /> <br /> The foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced, passed <br />and adopted by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana, at a regular <br />meeting thereof held on the 1st day of October, 1928, by the following <br />vote, to-wit: <br /> <br />AYES, TRUSTEES: J.L.McBride, W.J.Kelly, Homer C.
