<br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA,
<br /> CALIFORNIA, RELATING TO THE ISSUANCE OF STREET IMPROVEMEN~
<br /> BONDS, PURSUANT TO RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO. 1880;
<br /> DETERMINING THE AMOUNT OF UNPAID ASSESSMENTS, PRESCRIBING THE
<br /> DENOMINATION OF SUCH BONDS; AND PROVIDING FOR THEIR ISSUANCE
<br /> IN ANNUAL SERIES:

<br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Statute, notice of filing of list of tmpaid aszess-
<br />merits was duly given in the manner and form re~ ired by law, that the warrant,
<br />assessment and diagram was recorded on the 21st day of August, 1928, for the work
<br />and improvement made by Robertson Electric Corporation, under that certain contrac
<br />awarded to it on the 12th day of March, 1928, upon portions of St. Andrews Place,
<br />St. Gertrude Place, Van Ness Avenue, Ross Street, Birch Street, Broadway, and
<br />Sycamore Street; and that said warrant, assessment and diagram were ~eturned to th
<br />Street Superintendent of said City, together with a written statement of all pay-
<br />ments received upon the said assessment; and after the full expiration of thirty
<br />(30) days from the date of said warrant, the said Street Superintendent duly made
<br />and filed with the City Clerk of the s~id City of Santa Ana a complete list of all
<br />assessments unpaid upon the said assessment, which list is now on file in the
<br />office of the City Clerk of the said City; now upon evidence shown, this City
<br />Council determines that the assessments therein mentioned were then unpaid, the
<br />total aggregate thereof bei~ the sum of Sixteen Thousand Ninety and 40/100
<br />Dollars ($16,090.40), and that no assessments have been paid since the filing of
<br />the list of unpaid assessments by the Street Superintendent, and that there now
<br />remains unpaid the sum of Sixteen Thousand Ninety and 40/105 Dollars ($16,090.40)
<br />upon the assessments shown upon said list.

<br /> Reference is hereby made to Resolution of Intention No. 1880 of the Cit
<br />Council of the City of Santa Aha, passed on the 6th day of ~eb~ua~y, 1928, for a
<br />complete description of the work herein mentioned, and to the list of unpaid
<br />assessments filed as above stated, for the assessments unpaid.

<br /> AND, WHEREAS, interested persons were notified in the manner required
<br />by law to appear before the City Council of the said City of Santa &ua, California
<br />in the Council Chamber of the said City a~ the hour of V:30 o'clock P.M. on Monday
<br />the 8th day of October, 1928, and show cause why bonds should not be issued upon
<br />the security of the unpaid assessments shown on the said Street Superintendentts
<br />list; and
<br />
<br /> ~HEREAS, notice was duly given, in the manner and form required by law,
<br /> that serial bonds to represent unpaid assessments bearing interest at the rate of
<br /> six percent per annum will be issued hereunder in the manner provided in the
<br /> "Improvement Bond Act of 1918", the last installment of which bonds shall mature
<br /> nine (9) years from the 2nd day of July, next succeeding ten months from their dat.
<br /> and all interested persons having appeared before this City Council, and having
<br /> been given full opportunity to show cause why bonds should not be issued upon
<br /> the security of the unpaid assessments shov~ on said list, and all objections pre-
<br /> sented having been heard and considered;
<br />
<br /> IT IS THEREFORE NOW BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA,
<br /> DETERMINED, RESOLVED AND O~DERED AS FOLLOWS: That no cause has been shown why
<br /> bonds should not be issued upon the security of said unpaid assessments, and does
